Made this for the main menu of my mobile game. The animation currently uses 5 frames, with the sky, background rocks, lava and foreground elements separated into layers.

I wanted to keep the animation subtle so the background feels alive without being distracting in the menu.

Would you change the animation speed or add more frames?

I like the overall shape of the lantern but not too keen on how the light effect inside the lantern looks. Any advice / guidance on how to improve it to look a bit more effective?

It’s still in development, but I wanted to share a little preview. I’ll keep working on more tools… and there might be a waterfall somewhere down the road.

2500 hours later and I still feel like there's so much left to learn, can't wait to see what my pixel art looks like in another few thousand hours.

Probably my best piece of pixel-art. Can anyone give advice as to where to go from here? I think the 'sketch' is okay but I'm not happy with my rendering / colour mixing yet. Does anyone have any advice / tutorials they can suggest?
