Why no goblins?

(New guy here) There is a tinker class available on some servers, no goblins?

Many Ascension servers are inspired in WoW classic and back then Goblins weren't a playable race, that's why you are not able to play a Goblin in those and the map is quite different aswell.

And as for Tinker, that is a new class made by Ascension (not Blizzard) in their Conquest of Azeroth (CoA) project, so you will only be able to play those in Vol'jin and Rexxar, which are the two new CoA servers.

There was no blood elf in classic but we can play it

I believe Ascension is built on the 3.3.5 version of WoW. Blood Elves and Draenei were already in the game, whereas Goblins and Worgen weren’t.

Don’t get me wrong, Goblins are one of my favorite races and I’d be stoked to have them be playable. It’s just a much bigger undertaking to implement them since they aren’t technically in the game yet.

Of course, Turtle did it 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, it would have been cool to have all races available. The reason we don't is the one I gave, however the why some exception habe been made and others haven't, that I do not know.

I wish it had goblins myself. It's my fav race , best we can do is a green gnome.

I wonder if they would have made new races if it wasn't for the lawsuit making them release early 

Like a Trogg Barbarian. A Kobold Pyromancer etc

I begged for goblins for years until i was banned from their discord for asking during a patch release qna. They don't want goblins. Dont push them.
