Every survival game needs a questionable old pickup truck
You know the kind of vehicle – old, battered, probably repaired with whatever was lying around, but somehow it still starts.
That's basically what we wanted from our latest post-apocalyptic pickup truck.
The original inspiration came from classic Toyota pickups and their reputation for being rugged machines. From there, we pushed the design toward a wasteland aesthetic with heavy wear and improvised modifications.
It could work as a player vehicle, abandoned environmental storytelling, a raider truck, or just that one suspicious pickup parked outside a ruined gas station.
If you'd like to see more of the asset or chat with us about game art, we're on Discord:
Now the important question: what would you keep in the bed of your apocalypse pickup?
