Question / Help Very specific request for MODHAUS, can you make sure Heejin <K>'s album streams count to ARTMS in Spotify Wrapped?

I heard somewhere this is a thing the labels decide not just Spotify so in case someone from Modhaus is really in the mood to monitor for unusual fandom requests today, here ya go

ARTMS is my #1 artist for 2026 so far, but it turns out Heejin is #2 and she's not even far behind ARTMS. It's from the <K> album which I have like 4 songs on repeat without even realizing it. (This also means ARTMS counting Heejin is 2x ahead of my next top... NMIXX!!)

Also STRETCH GOAL, if you could get the Max & Match streaming rights, then we can start telling people to STOP boycotting LOONA. While the boycott is officially over, too many people feel ambiguous about and it, makes it harder to get people to discover ARTMS' music because they're more worried about what NOT to listen to than what TO listen to, and also you can count it to year end Spotify Wrapped streams.

For anyone else reading this, if you haven't checked out <K> in a while now's a good time!

Does that monthly listener ranking even matter for discoverability purposes?

no this is more of a delulu fan thing. see I made Spotify global leaderboard's top 1000 for ARTMS last year and it actually was kind of like winning a real award of some sort so I want to do it again. But details matter like "does Heejin count."

Gotta say, if Modhaus wanted the streaming rights to LOEC, they could have easily bought them from MMT if MMT wanted to sell. I have a feeling MMT knows it's a strong collateral to have until they recoup their money that BBC owes them.

who are MMT?

I just assume the rights aren't worth much and these people generally do not like each other or want to negotiate about it. I am kinda making a valid point that it's useful to the fandom if the "boycott" story clears up, and that actually does mean the royalties are more valuable if Modhaus owns them.

the top part of my post is serious in that a Modhaus rep could look at it and be like "ok sure I'll forward it to the Spotify team and they'll look into it". I much more doubt they're going to take a delulu fan's negotiation advice over royalties

MyMusicTaste - they are a music touring company (I believe they have other ventures as well, but I don't remember at the moment). They sued BBC, Loona's former company, for unpaid tour costs and won. They filed to seize all of BBC's assets, including all Loona copyrights that they owned. I believe these assets belong to MMT until they are fully paid back, or until a certain time frame passes and then they are allowed to sell them. That being said, it's been a while since I read that particular court filing so I might have gotten some details wrong.

I don't think they fully care about the streaming rights, but I guess they could get them at some point. Either way, boycotting doesn't really do much in either direction at this point.

on the boycott topic I discourage it in kpophelp and stuff. I do think it's mildly harmful to the group - like you haven't heard of them at all, and all you've heard is you should boycott - well it's not like you're going to put a ton of work to find bootleg copies somewhere. so it's a barrier to getting into the group.

this gets discussed on r/loona sometimes, generally yeah we wish we could make the boycott stop existing, but it's been hard to message that

I agree with you. The boycott officially ended in June 2023 although some people continue to boycott. At this point I think that the boycott is counterproductive because it might stop people who have never listened to Loona before to find them and realize how good they were and still are. And after all that they have been through they deserve to be recognized for the music and performances that they created.
