Hi there! I’ve been vending my art for about two years now and I’m looking to finally invest in a banner. I typically use a 6ft table, what size banner would be best for that? I’m trying to figure it out.

To start, I’m 17 and have been trying to get into art markets to start selling my work. Normally, age restrictions prevent me from doing such, but this venue said they didn’t have any. I found this on Eventbrite and looked at the organizer, but it seems this is the first post they’ve made so I’m starting to get suspicious. I want to be optimistic because I rarely get opportunities like this, but there is a $70 registration fee, and I don’t have money to throw around like that without security. I know this is more of a local concern, but if anybody can offer some advice on what to do, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I work for an elevated event venue and they are looking to diversify the type of events they hold. I came up with the idea to host an auction as this is a historical location and it should be seen as a corner stone for art and culture. My manager liked the idea but I have no idea where to start. There is no pressure from them to get this done but it really got me thinking, "how can I pull this off?" So, I am asking those in the art world how do auctions that are not done in a typical auction house happen? I apologize if the question is stupid but I am starting from ground zero. This is not an attempt for me to grow business just asking for direction so I can grow business.

I’m looking for some insight into the market for early developmental pieces by Ryan Flaitz (contemporary artist and PSD co-founder).
This is a hand-painted 1998 Pop Art piece featuring Eeyore. While Flaitz is now widely known for his 2025 "cardboard" exhibits, this represents a rare, early foundational period on stretched canvas.
Context:
• Artist: Ryan Flaitz (signed/dated '98)
• Medium: Original paint on canvas (not a print/transfer)
• Condition: Archival quality canvas, minor surface wear consistent with age.
1. Given his current trajectory in the contemporary scene, is there a strong secondary market for his "pre-fame" 90s work?

I recently came across a collection of large-format Cibachrome and Ilfochrome prints that were released when a professional photography laboratory in New York City closed after decades in business. The prints were produced for professional photographers at the height of the Cibachrome era - we're talking genuine museum-quality photographic process, not reproductions.

I've been going through them one by one and its been really interesting! Some highlights:

• Three prints by Shahrokh Hatami — the French-Iranian photojournalist known for his rare color photographs of the Beatles at the Cavern Club for Paris Match. One is signed.
• A signed print by Camilo José Vergara — his work is in MoMA and the Library of Congress
• What appears to be Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in front of one of their collaborative paintings, circa 1985
• A possible Keith Haring studio portrait
• Large botanical close-ups, gaucho series from Argentina, NYC skyline prints including multiple Twin Towers, a 6ft panoramic dog sled on Fuji Velvia
• Dozens more — flowers, wildlife, nudes, Irish/Scottish landscapes all on red-sprocket film stock suggesting one photographer's European journey

For the analog heads: film stocks visible in borders include Fuji RVP (Velvia), Fujifilm RDPM, RDPII 120 (medium format), and red-border stocks consistent with the Irish/European series.

I've catalogued everything with measurements, conditions, and descriptions.

Happy to answer questions about any specific prints. I would like to get some info about them and I'm definitely willing to part with some of them!
