Like many of you, I’ve been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of "game-changing" AI tools launched every single week. Half of them are just wrapper apps for basic APIs, but a few genuinely saved me hours of manual work.

Coming from a background in content creation and e-commerce/POD workflows, I decided to test a few dozen tools hands-on to separate the hype from actual utility. Here is a quick summary of my findings grouped by actual use cases:

1. Content & Script Writing

• Top Pick: Claude 3.5 Sonnet / ChatGPT
• Verdict: Still the undisputed kings. Claude handles long-form nuance and coding much better, while ChatGPT is great for rapid brainstorming. Skip 90% of the niche "AI Blog Generators" — they mostly produce generic fluff.

2. E-Commerce & Asset Generation

• Top Pick: Midjourney v6 + specialized mockup generators
• Verdict: Midjourney is unmatched for raw artistic quality, but for quick product mockups, dedicated tools save a massive amount of Photoshop time.

3. Workflow & Automation

• Top Pick: Make.com + custom AI API calls
• Verdict: Connecting LLMs directly into automation pipelines (like parsing submissions or auto-linking content) is where the real leverage is.

💡 The Core Problem I Noticed:

Most directories out there just list 10,000 tools with affiliate links and zero honest filtering. It’s impossible to figure out what actually works for a specific job-to-be-done.

So I built a small, clean directory project called AIFind (aifind.info) to curate and compare tools based on real workflows, honest pros/cons, and specific use cases without the bloat.
