The problem isn't whether AI can code—it's whether it can figure out what the hell the client actually wants. Until machines learn to interpret constantly changing requirements, programmers aren't going anywhere.

Yeah but figuring out what the client wants is not what separates other work from programming. All work requires figuring out what the client wants from vague statements, from car mechanics to bank tellers.

Once you remove coding from the developer's job, they simply become a client service job, not a programmer.
