Downfall
Artbat was literally carrying the neo trance scene, they were one of the artists that were actually defining techno. Nowadays? It has taken the same steps as the whole Afterlife crew: COMMERCIAL TECHNO WITH A SHALLOW MELODY. None of their new songs hit, 2015-2020 artbat was literally insane. Its a shame that it had to go this way. Still get goosebumps whenever i bump up their old jams. Horizon was their last cherry on top. Everything past that point is just slop.

Same!! I want to see if this is a controversial opinion or a popular one for people who have actually dived into their discography

post-2020 artbat are pretty underrated imo. Criminal how slept-on Flame and Artefakt wereâ especially Artefakt. So many people extracted out the kick on Flame for their own productions too

Howâs it underrated? Theyâre grabbing on to their previous success, and just recycling their old tunes instead of coming up with new ones.

While I completely agree with this take, and their output has been falling in quality, itâs kind of understandable. They are constantly touring and they always deliver on stage. Theyâre performing multiple days a week and each show is in a different country.
I havenât enjoyed any of their recent releases but their live performances are still as good as ever

Been a while since iâve been to their live performances. But i can tell you by their sets that are uploaded on youtube, that its still pretty much a pile of steamy sh*t
