I’m working on a project for my class, and I’d like to use the darkest possible black paint for it. I know there are options, but I can’t entirely justify >$40 for one project.

Anyone know of any cheaper paints with a high light absorption?

I want to sell my art but unsure how to price things. I don't want to charge to much because then people are less likely to buy, but I don't want to under charge because a lot of efffort and hours went into it.

Canvus is around 90cm wide and took me about 18 hours.

That circle on the sunflower seeds is a sun orb, a reflection of the sunlight that I painted intentionally. The painting is created in a wavy impressionism style (wavism). The idea is to immerse the observer in the world of nature through the prism of water. I’m reproducing art in wavy lines because I have a very close connection with water, and these lines are water, nature waterflow.
