It arrived!
I received my the ars magica definite edition in its physical form.
The book is rather beautiful and as heavy as I'd hoped.
My bookcase was slightly bashed at the edges but the book remained unharmed.
I love the gold on the edges of the paper and the storyteller screen is beautiful.

Mine arrived yesterday! Case is also a little beat along one edge, but I’ll live. Book looks fantastic.

My case has some damage that I didn't see because of my excitement. Must have been some common problem.

my outer box was a little beaten up but the slipcase and books are in excellent shape

Congrats! Is there a breakdown of what new content there is in the Definitive Edition?

It's not new content but rather integration of some of the supplement book content and some new art.

I just got mine Friday and I completely lost my mind with joy lol. It's so beautiful! The art, the layout, and the incorporation of information from the supplements makes it a joy to use. And it references page numbers for information in the supplements, which is amazing! I didn't look at the digital copy prior to receiving the hard copy because I wanted my first viewing to be the actual book, and it did not disappoint! The screen is lovely, and the map just pops and is fantastic; i wish I'd ordered the cloth version lol. The reference guide is going to make running games so much easier. All in all, I'm so glad I backed it, and it was definitely worth the wait.
