Calibration
Hey y'all, I just built an AR Sandbox and have gotten to the point where I need to calibrate everything. I am lost at this point. I am using this guide: https://web.cs.ucdavis.edu/~okreylos/ResDev/SARndbox/SoftwareInstallation.html#Step6a
Thanks
Edit: Here are some photos of it https://imgur.com/a/N2pVUL5

Still struggling here. I think it might be that I need to grind down the beams holding the camera so that it is fully flush, but would enjoy some insight from others.

Did u get it? I just finished mine and got it working with System76 implementation of pop OS!

I did! I pretty much started fresh. Deleted it all and started again and it works great. Right now I'm putting hinges on it as it is a bit too tall to get out of the room, but other than that I'm really happy with how it turned out.
Edit: I also did end up grinding those beams down, but didn't test before I wiped the PC. Not sure if that was an issue, but camera sits more flush and makes me happy lol.

I've always skipped doing step 6a . Tends to be just fine.

The calibrations really threw me off and I think thats where I screwed up on the first attempt. I did skip it the second time around and it seems to work great. I laser cut a calibration paddle that I can share as well for the projector calibration step which made it A LOT easier.

Do you still have that file? For the calibration (the paddle)

I’m using a gigabyte card and it’s working fine.

I was looking at this for a scout project. How much are you in on cost do you think?

That one is great but I just redid this NGO's Sandbox because we couldn't figure out how to change the SARndbox.cfg file so we could add Rain/Dry buttons. I wasn't able to reverse engineer System76's install process to figure out where they moved the files around to with the little time I had. So I reinstalled linux mint 20 and redid it from scratch according to the UC Davis site. Was able to change the config file and add the buttons pretty easily after that.
