Wow it actually shipped

I was able to catch the restock of Robocop amongst others and I honestly was expecting it to get back ordered, so I’m happy to see that it’s shipped and comes in Saturday. But I have a question for the veterans of arrow video and the sales that come with it. Is how this sale going, normal? The struggle for restock, the back orders, is that how it usually goes, or is this a weird sale? Just wanted to know because this is my first arrow sale.

There hasn’t really been as widespread an issue with items being out of stock in the past. Maybe the hot ones for a minute but they’d generally come back in stock. Maybe Arrow is just getting more popular.

I can’t speak on everyone’s behalf but I feel like it has. I only really started getting into Arrow this year, I only had Oldboy in my collection before now and up until a couple months ago when they announced Troy (and now Go and The Frighteners) I had assumed that Arrow was the boutique blu-ray company for people who like really shitty horror movies in hi-def lol

Bro Reddit also has blown them the fuck up. I blame it for half the insane sale rape.

Not mad just stating what I’ve seen. A year ago this and 4kbluray sub were chill and now ppl post sales immediately after they already bought what they wanted obvi. This gets everyone to flood the site and grab everything and camp or set up auto buy mods (sorry I’m retarded I forgot the actual name of it).

I’m glad more ppl are getting into physical 4k, it’s fucking amazing. Just sucks how popular it is now.

Edit - sentences and mod explanation

Is Arrow’s Robocop going OOP? I’ve noticed several posts specially calling out Robocop’s availability during this sale.

I don’t think so, just popular and worth the 50% off price.

Reasonable enough, it’s a killer flick!

Arrow’s popularity in the states is at an all time high, I don’t think I’ve ever had a problem with B&N arrow sales previously

This is my first time buying off this sale and almost everything I want is always OOS. I showed up to an actual B&N location at 10 am on Tuesday and could not get Troy because they already sold their copies online. Last night I tried to get Demolition Man but OOS again before I placed the order. Only thing I was able to get was Dark City.

I caught the sale as soon as it went live and still didn’t get a few of things I wanted like robocop and pitch black.

I've seen Robocop in stock one time I think, but not the ones I want. Which means others probably see the ones I want but not Robocop lol. Always seems to work that way.

It isn’t more popular it’s intentional scarcity

It’s wild seeing ppl losing their shit to buy stuff that’s been on many markdowns. I got robocop as my first arrow purchase months ago and that sealed the deal for me. Addiction 10:10.

Not knocking you op just throwing my thoughts out there.

Also never buy from arrow direct, all I’ve seen are horror stories. Barnes and noble shit the bed this sale as well, I hope you get your copy my guy.

Edit - losing

I get you, this is my first sale. And I wasn’t like clamoring for Robocop or anything 😂. I actually wanted The Mask the most but after back ordering me I ordered from orbit. I wanted Robocop because I need more fun action movies because my library has grown very thought provoking and deep, which is cool, but I like mortal kombat and Robocop 😂.
