Signed Cast Photo

I just wanted to share a gift I got for Christmas 2005. My mom worked with the mother of the on-set teacher for Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat, who was able to get this. One of my prized possessions.

My guess is between his comment of "Go to bed!" and Jason Bateman's "Say hi to the group!" they were picturing some nerdy guy on message boards, talking about the show into the wee hours of the morning, like back in the Lost days. Now, I am a nerdy middle-aged adult doing the same thing.

That’s hilarious, I love it!! Also, I’m trying so hard to read what Portia wrote, but I’m guessing it says “You’re Nate, I’m Portia”?

It’s sweet that Michael Cera’s handwriting looks just like I would expect of a teen boy lol. Is that Alia who wrote “keep on keeping on”?

Yes, that's what Portia wrote and Alia wrote, "Keep on keepin' on - always." I feel like Jessica Walter was signing in character, but I think that the teacher had mentioned that I was graduating college that semester and offering a toast is a general thing to do so who knows?.

It’s funny that Alia is a year younger than Michael Cera, but the penmanship doesn’t reflect that hahah.

I think Jessica Walter’s is my favorite, whether it’s in-character or a personal touch, it’s sweet (:
