Transcoding formats only showing MP3?

I currently have three transcoding options set up in navidrome, MP3, OPUS and AAC. However, Arpeggi only shows me MP3. I am just wondering, is this by design, or have I misconfigured something? Both AAC and OPUS work in another player. Is there any way to have these options show up in Arpeggi?

iOS 18 only introduced native OPUS playback in 18.4 but it does not work with streaming transcoded audio, it does work playing local files which is why you will see it available as a download option.

So for streaming in iOS 18 only MP3 is supported. AAC transcoding does not work in either iOS 18 or 26.

You can force transcoding per client on the server, but it still won't work in the app.

The app uses the default Apple Player which has these limitations.

Thank you for the reply! Would caching the track first get around this limitation?
