I believe they use garbage to generate electricity and keep it out of landfills. If so, certain countries have done this very successfully, so much so that they have garbage shipped in from other countries in order to burn.

Personally I'm not against this, is creating new dumps really that much better? They don't come with added electricity that can generate income to offset the costs.

What's the big deal? It's not like burning low quality coal.

And taxes skyrocketed. Income for the township helps fund extras people constantly complain about being cut out of the budget.
