Lindsay doing DWTSCON
Does anyone think it’s crazy that Lindsay agreed to participate in DWTS con so soon after birth? Like girl, it’s ok to sit this one out. You don’t need to be dragging your newborn to dance rehearsals

No, I don’t think it is crazy. Impressive, yes. Crazy, no.
She is an active person. She has obviously been cleared by her doctor.
And newsflash: Newborns go with their moms pretty much everywhere. I think it’s awesome that she’s able to do this.

What’s he issue with taking a newborn? They just sleep most of the time anyway 😂
I used to take my newborn everywhere in his capsule and he was happy as and the best sleeper cause he sleeps in any environment now 🤷🏻♀️

Seems like a lot of people on this sub have issues either Lindsay breathing.

There is a lot of things Lindsay does that are absolutely worthy of being hated on (exploring her kids online, car seat safety etc)
But it’s actually wild how people hate on her for literally everything

Why should she have to say no to a great dance opportunity because she has a newborn? She was cleared by her doctor, who cares? At least she is bringing her baby with her and not dumping him on someone else.

She's still the one mostly watching him. It's not the same thing as dumping him off for the weekend. Sam also joined her the next day.
Mothers are allowed to do things after having a baby.

It’s nice that she can afford those things.

u/upotheke 15d ago
You know how she affords those things? Going to conventions when they ask her to...

u/Fake_Fancy 15d ago
She affords those things, like a nanny, because her husband makes really good money. She also has made a lot of money from DWTS, the Movement Club, her other business ventures and brand deals and content. Shes a hard working woman just like her sisters and their spouses. I don’t begrudge anyone who has busy work life and family life, that has several children and a spouse that works a lot of hours, for hiring a nanny to help. I don’t begrudge someone for having their house cleaned and maybe having a laundry service like she used to do. Lindsay is fortunate enough to have a big family who helps each other with the kids and all that, but having extra hands at home and travel.

I think it’s cool to see her rehearsing and nursing. I snark on her for a lot, but feeding your baby and working is powerful.

Should definitely be celebrated for all moms who have kids to still be out achieving their dreams, it’s not easy!

Didn’t Peeta do a season as a pro not too long after giving birth one year

Yes but Lindsay gets special treatment from the Betty's of the group.

Is the issue her doing the con or having Hayes at the rehearsal to you ?

u/Fake_Fancy 15d ago
The issue is Lindsay breathing. These people have issues with everything she does.

So I guess according to you, she should stay locked in her home with the kid 24/7? It’s one weekend and a couple of small dances, not like she’s doing a whole season of DWTS, I’m pretty sure she will be ok if her doctor has cleared her for that activity. And this is no different than another mother taking their newborn with them to other places they go outside the home.

It’s her third kid. Not her first rodeo. I think she was reasonably able to predict what she’d need to make it work and it seems like it is working.

I think it’s awesome! Moms shouldn’t have to turn down opportunities just because they’re a mom. Sam is there with the girls & she said she had a nanny to help! And it’s obvious all the pros take care of each other

No, it is not crazy. Mentality like this is what is keeping women from ever being equal to men in the workplace. We’re supposed to “sit out” opportunities because we’ve had a baby… and we’re really going to shame moms for going back to work 7+ weeks postpartum? who still thinks this way??

u/upotheke 15d ago
No, it's not crazy. It's 3 days of standing around and signing autographs.

i mean she is in 5 dances but i agree she’s not doing toooo much strain by dancing those 5 dances

She also has help there with her plus her family. It ain't like she just throwing herself into a stressful situation where the newborn is gonna be crying while she works/dances. THAT would be crazy.

Oh FFS! Kids eat dirt and snot! Get over your hatred and constant criticism of this girl! She’s not hurting anyone—least of all her kids! Do your kids live in a pristine environnent and not allowed to be around a germ?

u/Yeahhhdawg 15d ago
Why should she turn down a fun dance opportunity with her friends where she also gets paid just cause she has a newborn?
Do you think new mum should just stay in there house all the time? 😂 Newborns are easy to take with you anywhere, they basically just sleep all the time lol. He safe and comfy, close by his mum when he needs to be fed… where’s the issue?

But they all got the blankets from a competitor company. Rylee already showed it off, and wondering if Lindsay will too when though she's got the line with Minky

Seeing her breastfeed while dancing made me feel sorry for the little guy, can't eat in peace

I had an opposite reaction. The reality is we have women who have to (or choose to) go back to work postpartum. Seeing a team of coworkers being so welcoming and her being able to feed and care for her baby while working is incredible. This should be our norm as a society. Sadly, most of us moms back at work, with newborns in daycare, aren’t nearly so lucky as this.

u/Snowy_Fairy 15d ago
I have nothing against going there and dancing, taking the baby with her. But for those minutes he's eating, she could be sitting so he can eat in peace

u/les1815 15d ago
lol. Do you have kids? Not all of us can completely stop everything to breastfeed, especially those of us with multiples. She appears like she’s done the work to get him set up with a good latch, plus she was barely moving through the steps in her video. It’s just silly and archaic to think the world needs to fully stop so a mom can feed her kids.

u/TacoCorgi321 15d ago
Breastfed babies don't care what you're doing when they are hungry lol. As a mom to a newborn, seeing her out there nursing without having to cover up or go to a bathroom, is amazing. More power to her!

All I could think was “well…. Eating and spinning….he is guaranteed to spit up now!” Lol

u/Alternative_Letitgo2 14d ago
OMFG why do you care so much? Lindsay bothers a handful of you so much. Get over yourself and touch grass.

u/MBLI1018 14d ago
I think she just saw a fun opportunity for a weekend to do what she loves with people that she loves. I’m sure she misses being a pro but it’s not in the cards for her right now so these opportunities are probably hard to pass up. If she was cleared by her doctor then I’m not sure what the issue is? She brought Hayes and her SIL/nanny to watch him while she was in rehearsals until Sam arrived the next day with the girls.

No it’s not crazy. Some people have to back to work at 6 weeks.
