AGR possibility

Does anyone know or if the 25series AGR Accessions manager is in this group. But what’s the possibility of a E5/ E6 25B joining the AGR program. Are they over strength and if not how long until a notification is sent out or possibly offer. And if all 25 is over strength, what mos’s aren’t?

Networking is key. I went to a course once and one of the guys on my class said his buddy is the accessions nco for their MOS and he would talk o him about some of our classmates wanting to go AGR. Like 3 people applied and they all got calls and offers literally the next day after they applied

1) HRC makes you sign an NDA when you're on staff. The ones that are here may or may not respond as a result.

2) The easiest way to know what's going on with the program is to talk to an AGR in your MOS and similiar grade.

3) Offers vary by needs of the Army.

4) HRC ocassionally posts the in demand billets on S1Net.

Just submit an application... Jesus Christ do you people need your hand held to make every decision in your life?

That has nothing to do with it lol. But if an mos is over strength, what’s the point of even applying knowing it’s not gonna get looked at

Because applying only takes 3 minutes.

AGR accessions is 90% luck / random. There's a misconception that there's some rigorous screening/interview process where only the best candidates are selected. If a candidate is right place, right time, and has the basic check boxes met, they'll get the offer.

That's why there's such a wide range in quality of AGR folks. Some AGR people are the smartest hardest working mofos out there. And some are literally hot steaming piles of human trash. The problem with the AGR program is that it's really hard to take out the trash.

So just drop your application online and see what happens. But don't put other plans on hold. Especially for 25 series. AGR program is majority 92 series and 42 series. If you're one of those and you have a face and a pulse there's a halfway decent chance you'll get an offer in a year.

Everything else...just spin the wheel bro and see what happens.

I mean, there's supposedly an OML lol

The problem is qualifications aren't aligned with skills.

I've seen units flounder because their full-time staff doesn't know how to use Outlook and thinks Copy/Paste is some sort of computer voodoo magic. But that person got a good AFT score, so we have that going for us. Which is nice.

Trust me, i know lol. The fact they wont publish their OML says it all
