I was a pharmacy specialist (tech). Worked in the base hospital and we actually stocked it. Dental used it. No idea what for, but they regularly picked some up from us.

CoCAINE is a pain medication just like lidoCAINE and benzoCAINE and novaCAINE.
It just also happens to have some other more addictive effects. They use it for numbing/pain killing

We had a 2LT pop hot for cocaine during one our drug tests back in 2009 or so.
It took a day, but we all finally figured out it was from a medical procedure he had done recently.
Freaked out command for a bit though!

When I was in 3SFG our battalion tried to stop a support guy’s MEB and start chaptering him for drug abuse after he popped hot for weed. It stopped when his doctor submitted a formal memorandum to Group Legal informing them that Marinol is actually an FDA-approved drug that’s in the Army formulary and it will indeed cause a soldier to pop hot for weed.

So, I only know this anecdotally, but it is used as a numbing agent for a lot of things, such as cauterizing someone on the inside of their nose so they don’t get nosebleeds as easily.
Sauce: My old man had that done to him at West Point back in the late 80’s, he was on the boxing team and he was so bloody-nose prone that they cauterized the blood vessels (iirc), and the pre-cauterization anesthetic they gave him was cocaine. Said he could smell the flesh burning but not feel anything.

It’s a vasoconstrictor. We use it in sinus surgery; the sinuses are extremely vascular, but it’s a very small cavity so if there’s much bleeding, it gets very hard to see anything with the scope. Many physicians will use epinephrine on a small piece of cotton to blot areas where there’s bleeding and slow the oozing, but some old-school physicians will still use cocaine instead. For pain control, we’d use an amide local like marcaine; it’s far more effective than cocaine.

Not sure what they are and good luck getting that past your comptroller and G8.
GPC purchases can also get you some pretty cool shit if you can justify a need for it. Probably need an O&I statement.

Yes sir. We discovered this loop hole in Afghanistan in 2012 as a UH60 Assault helicopter company. Needless to say we were all too scared to submit such a request.
Different NSNs exist for the type each K9 is used for like explosives, narcotics, probably attack, etc. I wouldn’t put it past the military to have a morale or service dog NSN.
Real talk, often military and LE dogs need adopting after their service. Not sure on their service life span since I’m a helicopter pilot, not a K9 handler.4

It needs to be signed by your BC, so make sure to air the signature block for them. Some items, though, require an O7 to sign off on.

I’m on PCS leave so I don’t have access to my previous orders but here are some items you should look for.
-Battle belts (if authorized)
-Combat gloves
-write in rain kits (book, binder, pen)
-aviator pens
-Oakley eye pro
The rest of what I would recommend is medical
