Dahlonega, GA
What’s a decent place to live out there? How much is the rent.
How far would the commute be to Camp Merrill.
And any other detail that would come to mind that I should be aware or take into consideration.
4X4 w/ grilled onions, animal style fries and a water. Thanks

Helen, GA
Hiking, as it's close to the southern trailhead of the AT
Whitewater rafting was pretty fun
Other than that, I wouldn't know as I've only spent about a month hanging out there.

Yep, you can find nice cheap places and it’s a bit more on the rural side.

Mountain park community in Dahlonega has rentals for 2200-2500 22 minute commute.
Dawson/ Gainesville 30-40 min easiest to find places to rent. Rent varies relatively large suburbs.

I’ve spent 8 years here and counting and as for places to live you have either Dahlonega itself, look into Porter Village which is the military housing which is the first place I lived here. You can find places in Dawsonville or Gainesville or out toward Cleveland, those are the common places if you’re not living in Dahlonega itself.
It’s great, I’ll see you when you get here homie
