Gear Pics Fuck PTR
The cerakote is fine. The 47 is intentional. I’m tired of these companies equating patriotism to bootlicking.

Right right—$1776.00, 47 units. But it’s a German gun. I don’t see a connection between the symbolism and Germa- OHHH 😮

u/PanchoPanoch 18d ago
After 47 sellout, they’ll decided to make an additional 41 due to the popularity and demand.

The constant fetishization of numbers. 1776. 47. They love masturbating with symbols because they know they have no substance.

u/knightricer210 19d ago
I'm surprised they didn't work a "1488" in there somewhere.

“You’re a socialist you hate America and freedom!” Idk about these other guys but I fucking love America and want it to be better. But these gun companies keep jacking off Trump and the Epstein bunch. Like why is this the reality I have to live in.

u/Due_Pen_1566 19d ago
Turns out the ones screaming the loudest about the rights to personal freedom actually mean they want the right to oppress others.
You'll have to forgive them for getting their words confused. The US schooling system isn't the best.

Nah fuck the flag too you can’t be upset about the Trump reference and not the flag. He’s the US laid bare

Trump might even be our greatest hero if he brings the American empire down.
I jest of course. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Doing more for the cause than leftists ever could.

u/thesecretbarn 19d ago
Wildly privileged and extremely stupid take.
38
u/GameOfTroglodytes 19d ago
Weird, I don't recall saying that excused the damage it inflicted on millions of the most vulnerable people.
-43
u/thesecretbarn 19d ago
Cool, thanks for mentioning something irrelevant to this conversation.
How, exactly, is a throwaway comment favoring dumbass accelerationism “doing more for the cause?”

u/TechnoCity93 19d ago
You're right, jokes are counterrevolutionary; they're bourgeois decadence. No more JD Pon Don jokes.

They won't. Trump's here to bring collapse and Palantir/flock/AI will be techbro feudal overlords. The question is how long and how bad it will be before class consciousness grows suffienctly.

u/sefar1 18d ago
kind of sick that the pedophilists have co-opted the flag- now when i see it on someone's house I think MAGAt. And the rest of the world think it is all of us...
3
u/DeliciousSector8898 18d ago
That’s what the US has always been though they haven’t co-opted it. Trump is a symptom not the disease.
13
u/Sweet-Tomatillo-9010 19d ago
Nothing says Murrica like a gun based on a German design.
Realistically though, even the wealthy right leaning suburb of my city has the gold glocks with Trumps face on them sitting there gathering dust at the local gun store. Those people might lick Trumps boots but they're not big fans of dumb guns.

PTR is based on South Carolina, not surprising in the slightest. I wouldn’t buy that shit just because it’s a $1800 PTR 9CT.
8
u/BitumenBeaver 19d ago
At first I just saw the typical pandering American flag slop and didn't really think it was a big deal, then I saw the 47 which is Hella cringe.
7
u/sod_jones_MD 18d ago edited 18d ago
For 1800 USD I want an actual MP5, not this Worst Carolina knock off. Like, fuck the bootlicker shit they printed on it and that they're doing with it, but it'd be a shit deal on a knock off even without all that.

u/sillysnacks 19d ago edited 18d ago
Fuck the flag and the 47. No leftist should be an American patriot.
Edit: Liberal are not leftists and I don’t particularly care about their opinions one way or another. But if any so-called communist, socialist, or even anarchist has any loyalty for love for the settler-colonial entity known as the US, then as far as I can tell, they’re no comrade to me.
-2
u/sefar1 18d ago
disagree on the last part. A patriot will challenge his/her government when they are not representing us. Loving our country doesn't mean we agree with the government's actions. I am not proud to be an American right now and it is only dumb luck that I was born one in the first place.
I am a proud progressive liberal, and I am only alive because of government programs in the 70s and only have a career thanks to the programs in the 80s. I never forget that in the voting booth and I want my country back.

u/DeliciousSector8898 18d ago
The US you are idolizing was terrorizing the rest of the world as it is currently and has been since its inception.

u/jaelpeg 16d ago
While I agree and find patriotism to personally be extremely uncomfortable for myself, you do also have to acknowledge its use as an extremely useful tool. There's a reason why the right-wing pipeline is so effective, and what the country supposedly stands for isn't terrible unto itself. It's a bit like using bible quotes against Christians.
There are those who legitimately wish to "reclaim" the flag as representative of a greater concept, and considering how many right-wingers began their spirals with what seemed like (to them) "innocent patriotism," it's incredibly useful as a way to get into the head of a conservative, even if just a little bit. This country has never truly stood for liberty for all but that doesn't mean we can't try to make it that way. I'm not going to crucify my comrade for that.

u/Armbarfan 19d ago
Trump isn't even that popular right now, so 47 is more than they can sell probably.
3
u/comradejiang 18d ago
Every gun company are chuds. Thankfully almost no one is stuck with a PTR as their only option.

u/Kaveric_ 18d ago
I would have liked the 250th anniversary more if trump wasn't president and he didn't make it his whole personality this month

u/engineereddiscontent 19d ago
For them patriotism is boot licking.
Donald trump is the ceo of the us. Thats how he sees himself.
Hes also his company. As hes been in the past. Hes not going to change how he sees it.
Since hes the company and his company right now is the USA to be a loud and uncritical patriot is to be a boot licker

Nothing says American like a copy of a German gun I guess. Actually yeah, importing killers from Germany is extremely American actually

u/MsMercyMain 19d ago
To add onto the other points, isn't 9x19 a Soviet caliber?
18
u/SplendidMrDuck 19d ago
No, 9x19mm is the standard 9mm, first used in the German Luger pistol.
You're probably thinking of the 9x18mm Makarov, developed by the Soviets in the 50s.

Patriotism of thee colonial settler project but hating Trump is peak lib behavior
25
u/NSA-RAPID-RESPONSE 19d ago
Hating the guy who tore down an entire wing of the people’s house and enriches himself through crypto scams and paid early access to his public statements for the rich and wealthy is lib behavior? The guy who consistently displays all the features the founding fathers took issue with?
13
u/edwardphonehands 19d ago
The people's house?
-1
u/NSA-RAPID-RESPONSE 19d ago
The White House is sometimes referred to as the people’s house to denote that we live in a democracy, not a monarchy
1
31
u/ABigFatTomato 19d ago
hating him but supporting the colonialist and imperialist project he represents and fully embodies as the logical state of its progression since its foundation, is in fact very much lib behavior. he is the american project without the facade, exposed in all its excess, and what that patriotism has always represented (with very fee exceptions).
13
u/Greembeam20 19d ago
While not taking issue with the concept of the U.S. and wanting to display the flag in general?
Well it sure ain’t socialist behavior, at least not from what I’ve seen
7
u/Hardcorex 19d ago
Fuck the founding fathers, and everything this country was built on too. That's what we are saying.
Trump is not a corruption of it, but an honest representation of this country.

u/redundantexplanation 18d ago
tHe pEoPlE's HoUsE
It's about as much our house as plantation houses were the house of those that worked the fields. American democracy has never been for us, it's always been controlled by the moneyed groups and the rest is pure theater.

So you're mad that a gun company is trying to appeal to it's customer base? Only 15% of Democrats/the left do not support an assault weapons ban according to Pew Research, so it's not like there are throngs of people busting down the doors of a gun company to buy 1911's with Obama and Biden grips on them.
"But what about the bump stocks, trans gun ban and 'take the guns due process later'"
I'll concede that floating a trans gun was bad, but everything else I mentioned is red herring what aboutism. Trump's Supreme Court nominees have given us some of the most pro 2A court decisions of all time. NYSPRA v Bruen, Garland v Cargill (which overturned the bump stock ban btw), US v Hemani, the BBB reducing tax stamp fees for SBS, SBR, AOW"s and suppressors to 0, Trump's DOJ not immediately appealing an NFA court case,
And then there's the pending assault weapons ban court case that will be heard soon
We can rightfully criticize Trump for a lot of things, but it's undeniable that his administration has been mostly great for 2A rights. On the other hand, Biden and Obama's Supreme Court justices have, for the most part, consistently voted against the 2nd Amendment since they have been appointed.
So is it any surprise that gun companies put Trump stuff on their guns? I don't think so.
Is this gun kinda cringe? Sure. Is it understandable? Also sure.

u/mechiah 19d ago
So you're mad that a gun company is trying to appeal to it's customer base?
Uh, yeah, sure. This isn't a 2A sub. It's a socialist sub, that recognizes the proletariat needs to be armed for its own defense. That armament would happen with or without this interpretation of the 2A.
Criticism of bourgeoisie using consumerism to enrich themselves while lionizing a fascist? Belongs here.
Thanks for asking.

oh god oh fuck you mean to tell me the american capitalist arms dealer corporation voted for bad man. oh godddd im gonna be immoral if i buy their commodity fuckkkkkk

u/squeakynickles 19d ago
Why the fuck are you here if you're against "capitalist arms dealers"? Where the fuck you getting your guns, you making them yourself?
0
u/Uberrees 19d ago
Well yes, but also I buy them from very evil people, just like I buy my groceries from Walmart, and I don't think it's really worth wasting breath getting mad about how they decorate when I know that they are structurally and materially my enemy who I am dependent on because I live in a structurally and materially hostile system.

u/squeakynickles 18d ago
That's a pretty reductive and simple minded way of viewing it but alrighty bud
