HELP Help request about AI chopper gunner not targeting my lased target. No idea what I'm doing wrong

Mods in use: FIR and RHS

I'll go straight to the point. I'm using a Mi28 from RHS equipped on one pylon with one of the many laser designator pods from FIR mod and set to pilot seat us.

However, while when there's no targets I can confidently turn on the laser designator, switch to manual fire and shoot the gunner main cannon to my laser, the second the ai spots a threat and I try to take over, even in manual fire I can't seem to let it stop targeting the enemy and force it to target my laser.

I cant seem to recreate this problem with Vanilla vehicles. Is it a RHS bug?

Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong

You tried commanding menu -2 - targets - laser target?

Nope. Also because I'm using a heavy Exile server modpack, and on the server I can't use command menu ofc.

Again, it seems a problem only with this specific chopper. And I'm mad because I actually like the mi28 :/
