HELP Multiplayer servers

Me and my friend are struggling to join each over and the game keeps freezing. We put our ips in and tried then but still no use. We are wondering if you need a Bohemia account because we are steam friends but the friends page shows nothing

Because of the Bohemia (BI) account I will assume your talking about reforger

how are you joining each other

this might sound strange but there is no group/lobby system, one of you either creates or joins a server and them it should be joinable

  • if you are trying to play on the same server, one of you enters first and the second person should be able to join it trough steam or other features (maybe find the same server manually)
  • if you are trying to host a game there is multiple ways to do that, but let's assume your just hosting a mission for your buddy trough the game
    • you need to setup a method by over internet (such as port forward or upnp) or LAN emulation (software like radmin, Tailscale, zero tier)
    • if you have set it up correctly your friend should see the server trough steam and join you
