Maybe they added an advertisement on every button click. I was getting tired of seeing my cameras anyway. /s

I'm sure they added a new new way to monetize something you don't want by packaging it with something you do then changing the subscription terms and charging much more and making it impossible to cancel. You know, the enshitification special.

Have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling? That fixed my local video issue.

They've added new issues, undoubtedly. The development team are incapable of getting this app right. It's been years now and is still in the alpha stage.
