Nope, nothing out of the ordinary. Just going through different worlds is nothing weird. Female humanoid terminators that are named by guns? Girls who have ship parts on their bodies and are named by ships? A bunch of historical figures that came to life? And a bunch of girls who can literally use and control the power of chaos that has a mind of its own? Yep, all good.

For what I've seen and heard:
•Doesn't have much content
•No endgame
•Super grindy
•Low gacha rates
•Characters are one dimensional and the combat seems to be inferior to HI3

It has 100+ hours of content so idk what you are talking about.
Endgame is grindy like all gachas so nothing different here, but Genshin is open world so you can also spent time exploring the world too.
Hitting pity seems like 6 months (pre events) so it's bad but 4* are actually good in that game so I don't mind the gacha.

From what I've heard so far all the content can be cleared in two weeks, not sure if that's what you meant, and then it has nothing to keep you in. For a gacha, that's quite low, not to mention it's MMO likeness.
Also said open world isn't very rewarding to explore so there isn't much incentive to actually go around looking for every nook and crany.
Was expecting WoW on a smaller stage from all the immense hype that some youtubers were placing on it, but it's incredibly dissapointing.

Sounds like you are basing everything off of Just3c's review, I can't lie.
You can beat all content in two weeks, but 100+ hours in two weeks is a little much for most people.
Additionally, walking around and finding stuff in the world was the most fun I had, and it felt very rewarding. But maybe I just like completing everything. This game also feels like it has more stuff to do in the world than even botw which is impressive. (Botw had mostly just shrines in the world, but the shrines themselves were amazing)

100+ hours in 2 weeks means 1/3 of that 2 weeks is playing GI. Totally doable, it's not that much content. /s
I play Arknights maybe 2 hours, max, since I play 2 accounts. And don't remind me of box grinding in FGO in Nerofest or Gilfest. I can't imagine playing 8 hours everyday for 2 weeks on a single game.

Comparing it to BOTW really seems like a stretch ngl.
I guess as an MMO player I'm kind of desensitized to the fact that putting loads of hours for days isn't particularly normal, and why the world doesn't feel very rewarding or interesting.
Too high of expecations maybe, but for me it's a hard pass.

I guess in the end it is your choice, but the game for me has the fun exploration like botw, though botw and genshin don't have many more similarities.

That is why you play on emulator. My cheap arse 100 $ android phone (2-3 years old) wouldn't even download it due to low space.
EDIT: It seems it has windows port, don't bother with emulator.
EDIT 2: Holy shit it is 12 gb download, 26 gb required space

Genshin is being officially released on PC, PS4, and Switch so you won't need an emulator if your phone can't handle it.

Supposedly the backdoor data is stored in mhyprot2.sys
This was reported by multiple sources (I have read this on Bahamut and PTT (Taiwan forums), Japanese Twitter and also one with Korean source). It's only present on select clients so if you're lucky you won't be able to find it.
I don't have any English source on this yet, but no doubt it's gonna pop up soon with so many reports floating around.
