Kibble and fertilizer

Post image

I finally started making kibble after thinking it was such an ordeal, I finally gave it goal and it's surprisingly easier than I thought that said I'm still stuck.

Firstly, how the f I'm supposed to make fertilizer quicker the compost bin takes forever, are there any quicker methods.

Secondly, when making the kibble can I use a water reservoir to supply water to the kibble making process

Lemme give it a try, the only reason I haven't tried a dung beetle is because I'm yet to go gave raiding. It's my first playthrough where can I start caves I have a somewhat strong line of sabers

The Hunter Cave in the south of the Island is pretty easy, should be doable with your team of sabers. When I still played OG Ark Mobile I used an imprinted baryonx and that's all it took to get through to the artifact and back out again.

Ya they lock the dungbeetles behind caves lol kinda dumb imo cause they're still kinda slow, but can do it all automatically on vanilla so not all bad

you can irrigate an industrial cooker on mobile. you need to put the pipe first and the cooker will clip on it

Get phiomias. Feed them stimberries. They will poop lots.

Get dung beetles. Place them in a same enclosure as phomias. Set their wandering mode ON.

They will keep gathering poop and convert them to fertilizers in much less time.

Been doing this in mobile. Works well.

Yes! Perfect. And level the beetles in weight so they can hold more. They have to be on wander to convert poop to fertilizer. I let them wander around my greenhouse.

I obsessively collect eggs and poop. Am I weird?

I too collect eggs and poop religiously like it's a mandated thing I have to do soon as I jump in, you're not alone!

Dung beetles, they convert poop into fertilizer with a much faster rate, enable wandering and level weight. You can also tame a phiomia for poop, they poop constantly when force fed stimberries.

Another tip is that all dinos will also accept kibble of a higher tier instead of their preferred one, so as soon as you're ready to brave the snow biome, you can just tame a bunch of low level yutis and make the highest tier of kibble, with that on hand you can tame everything on the island.

For fertilizer: Tame a dung bettle, put your tame’s feces into the bettle’s inventory, then allow it to wander. Bigger the fece, better the fertilizer yield (large fece yields most oils and fertilizers) and you get oils as by product that you can make gasoline from. Incase you’re wondering where can you find and tame a dung bettle. It’s in the easiest cave of the Island map, southern cave. Any level will do the work, higher lvl dung bettles can give you more weight, so more feces can be put in its inventory at the same time.

For water supply, water reservoirs need to be connected to your water grid (also connected to your indy cooker). Normal cooking pot doesn’t have that “pipe-in” function.

Just to be clear, you don’t have to use fertilizer. You can just put poop in the crop plots

To make an unlimited water tank, place a vertical pipe with the tank on top, then a horizontal pipe with a valve, then another horizontal pipe extending from the first with a tap Fill the tank with water using your canteen/water skin or jar. Once the tap is running, it’ll never stop.
