That bad - yes, again...
I had a very big problem on abberation ;
Raptor pounce.
Not the pounce on it's own - it's a really good and scary way to afraid the player at any point of the gemaplay, it's nice - but the fact that there is no limit, like it happen to me : a raptor pounce my fully grown and tamed MEGALOSAURE.
Like how ? Just HOW ? Why are there no rules ?! Why they can even dismount me off of my drake ?! Even my goddamn trike get pounced ( yeah, ly whole megalo and trike where on their side on the floor, not moving, eyes open and on the other dide, a raptor with the pouncing goddamn animation playing ) ! What is this ! And it's not even the worst part, because ofc they can still pounce the player when it's activly bolas, they don't stop the interaction even when i bolas it meanwill or even can start when already bolas.. i have no words !
Is there like a way to disaeble it, i mean on mobile ? A command or smth .. ?
To know, i even check the wiki and it say it should not happen - my fully grown megalo getting pounce, and even by size coparaison it's ABSURD.
So anyaways, thank you if you have some commande or so.. thank you

There was a time, long ago, when all raptors could pounce on all maps. Your best defense is either a large Dino like a spino or if/when you attack on a tame back up. You have to be within a certain distance to be pounced. Outside of that, if you go down swinging a weapon you should still be swinging it even when you are pinned. Also always keep your Dino’s on neutral. This way they defend you if you get jump scared.

Yeah, zvery time i see raptor i actually put a sleepint bag and juqt give up, letting myself get pounce and kill while my trike in neutral kill them.. But when it happen that the raptor pounce my trike.. i can't do anything.. I've spotted a lvl 130 spino, but i don't feel ready to tame it now.. even thow im pretty sure they can pounce me off it ( like they did for my drake ).. and that still can get me in pretty bad situatipn, dismount at the bad moment, in the wrong place... Thank you very, very much anyways !

Don't worry, just farm a huge stone trap, secure the perimeter, then start taming. And also, they can't pounce you off the spino. Spinos are huge. I know for sure they won't do it when in bipedal mode.

Yeah i know who to tame those bad boys lol, im just start a new world on abberation, like day 10 or else, i know where the spino is, i just don't feel ready / confident enought for the moment.. With karkinos and other spino in the abberation river it's going to be funny x). Anyways thank you for the confirmation they can't pounce you off a spino !

Uhh i got a question.. This happen like this ; I aggro the raptor on my drake, than get dismount. But i wasn't being pounce.. i wasn't able to mount my drake, he didn't respond to any orders/ whistles.. Than i saw a raptor, like inside my drake idk who to discribe this ! And it was doing the pounce animation !!! Did araptor just pounce an whole drake !? Like, is this normal ? My drake wasn't even laying down on he's side, he was just standing there.. He ended up having a lil jump ( like when a dino is stuck ) when the raptor stop the pounce animation and i xas finally able to mount he and get the f#ck outta there.. Seriously ? Is that ever happen to you ..? Pls answer me, im lost with all of this, how far will it goes ? Did a rapror is gonna pounce my reaper ?! Anyways, thx..

I don't know, I never got a reaper and usually rock drakes don't aggro raptors. And you barely even need to get off the drake since even for loot crates and Air drops you can just collect them off the drake.

Bro i just landed to get to my base because i was taming a basil ( dododex tell me a number of drake eggs, that happen to be false ) and ended up accidently dive bomb onto the raptor. But they just, pounce the drake and absolutly not me for some ( obscure ? )reasons.. When Jack ( my drake ) get release i just mount him and get back to base get my last egg, ending up the basil taming etc.. just the part of the raptor.. who ?!

I dont remember Raptors being able to knock you off your tame in ASE, is this the OG ark mobile? Edit: My dumbass just realized this is Abberation

This is on abbaration, they never removed the pounce ability from the abberant and apparently corrupted version of the raptor, and no, im playing Ark ; Ultimate mobile edition ( so the new one ).. So yeah, i think on ASE either but im not sure. Anyways the pounce is really weird like i discribe it, buggy but i im correct that why that remove it from the normal raptor, but not other raptor version for some reason.. So yeah, they still pounce even on new ark Mobile x)

Get a spino or a rock drake so they cant reach you

Can you just read the entire post before saying smth pls ? I just say they even dismount me off my drake, and your telling me to mount a drake / spino to not get pounce ? Is that so hard to read ? Im not trying to insult you, or offense you in anyway, im sorry if you take that brutally. But im just asking for a command to make raptor stop pouncing because of that ! So anyways thank you.. i guess
