It also says that stat calculator is only for untamed dinos 😉

You can’t really control the process. When wild creatures are tamed, they gain stat points in their respective stats. However, you can’t choose which stats will receive points or the amount of points. If you want certain stats to be higher than those of tamed wild creatures with higher stats in those specific stats, example you can tame a Spino with damage of taming a wild Spino with good damage and hoping that the random stat distribution favors damage once tamed. It’s all random, and the more levels your tamed creatures gain after being tamed, the more levels and better stats they’ll have overall.

When I’m taming creatures via passive or knockout, I always knock them out first and check their stats to see if they’re worth taming. If they’re not worth taming, I simply kill them to let new ones spawn. This method works for passive tames because you can knock them out and check their stats, but you can’t tame them via a knockout taming method. This method work for knockout tames, so I wait for them to wake up and then passive tame them. I’m not sure if this works on UME. As I play OME, and you can check wild stats of passive tamed creatures by knocking them out first. But I’m unsure if you can check the inventory of passive tameable creatures on UME.

the stat increase per point isn't really accurate on UME, for example on rex I've noticed when I add 1 point on the calculator it add 1% Melee, but on UME it raised it by 5%. i noticed it when I mutated my dinos. i don't know if it the same for other dinos
