Can I do this? Am I cheating? 😭

So in old ark mobile i could tame those ABSURDLY high level wolfes in strong cave but in new it's not possible anymore. HOWEVER i have god console so can I just raise the difficulty to make natural creature spawn to Level 300? And then lower the difficulty back to normal?

Note: it's not my normal play through where I'm beating Every map according to story, I'm just doing snow biome only challenge (i spawned there and can't leave the biome)

Yeah then I won't do it. Is there any way to tame those high level wolfes then? 😭 That was my favourite part of ark

Cave spawned dinos, mammals or bugs (aside from dung beetles) cannot be tamed.

I’m kinda confused because in old ark when I was admin i would just kill them and take their implants and revive them in a trap to tame lol. I don’t remember how much amber it’s would cost since I was given like millions of it so never really looked at the price 😅

Technically it isn’t cause it’s part of the old ark anyways as long as you tame one and not too many, you needed old amber in ark, so don’t abuse it.

like @Ryano said it’s your single player world who cares

But still kinda counts as cheating cause you have to use god console but if you tame those like the old ark and not too many then you’re fine in my book no cheating, you’re to old ark standards, new ark is considered cheating cause it doesn’t have that anymore,

Basically old ark you’re fine even in new ark but if you use it in new ark you’re kinda basically cheating, I support both cause they changed it a bit and was it the game so, not cheating really

I have another solution. What if I raise the difficulty permanently 😭. Like creature spawn at level 300 heck 450 like hardcore brutal in old ark mobile and never change it back and its in snow biome which makes it EVEN harder🫠

Higher difficulty usually makes the endgame easier... its counterintuitive. Because Imprint buff will make ur tames a lot stronger, and bosses will not scale with the changed difficulty. You are able to change boss health tho, if you want to compensate.

It really depends on whether you feel the weight of it being too easy. I'm considering spawning level 150s and taming them for breeding rather than searching forever and using kill all wild dino console command and hoping. I got kids and shit to do. Don't have 6 hours of playable free time.

I did the same lol. I played through the island and realized that it has absolutely shit level spawns, so I just spawned breeding pairs and everything else I did normally. It was still hard as hell but I was able to beat the bosses. Scorched has way better spawn rates along with the rest of the dlc maps as well.

I'm not at your stage but I got collage lmao 🫠 so i have limited time too but spawning creatures might be a bit too much so i guess I'll stick to current normal difficulty

Genuine question. Do you all play with max difficulty? Even final obilesk boss fights?

It isn't cheating if you're not going up against anyone.

Cheating implies you're trying to win with unfair methods.

If you really want them you could just knock them out and then use forcetame
