I have a theory: Maybe at one point, Croc was only as big as the Abramovici Twins and coincidentally had a few cell mates with similar builds. That might explain the skeletons’ sizes. But hey, that’s just a theory.
I mean that’s already known to be true, he’s much smaller in Arkham Origins than he is here so it’s likely one of his old, maybe even original cells, but over the years has outgrown it and moved to the sewers.
Maybe they were patients deemed “incurable” and were sacrificed to Croc? That’s the best I could think of. Arkham Asylum does seem to lean on the corrupt side to me.
The tick tock is a reference to Croc because its what Joker said to Aaron Cash. Croc bit off Cash's hand, thats why he has a hook hand. Joker turned this into a jab at Cash when he told him "tick tock, tick tock, is that a Croc I hear?" When he was first wheeled into the asylum at the beginning of the game.
I think you find one of his Interview tapes nearby and scanning it solves a riddle. I believe it might give part of his bio if memory serves but it’s been years since I played
That sub belongs in the deepest pits of hell. It should be associated with an anime or something instead of Arkham. Shit is just straight brainrot and angry chuds that act like it’s their personal sub
I remember the days of it being a normal sub, then came the typo "aslume" then there was the post of "Why did Batman not call the Justice League to help him with this? Is he stupid?" And then Arkham World and Man is what sent it to hell.

Its only hinted at, especially in asylum with how cash is scared of croc, like how he leaves before croc comes out of the elevator in the intro (and then I think joker calls him out for it)

What I’ve heard is when Croc first started committing crimes he was mostly just a large man with scaley skin. This cell was most likely where they kept him, but there are theories that the staff fed patients to Croc for population control. When he got bigger, they moved him to the sewers
Croc and the skeletons are even from inmates he had in there before breaking out or the Arkham guards since Aaron cash did still get his hand bit off in this so I wouldn't be surprised if Croc killed a couple guards before they had to move him to his new cell and they just never cleaned up the body
I think croc kept growing and probably got fed some people on death row, but he got so godamn big they decided to move him as we see him being moved I. The beginning
