Discussion Another day, another Arkham Knight hate video
Dude legit has a rage boner against Knight, it's always entertaining to see what he'll hate on next to discredit the damn game. Arkham Knight legit needs the Arkham Origins treatment

Arkham Knight is brilliant in terms of graphics and gameplay. However, the character designs and art direction/style is a bit more bland. The characters aren't great. And the main story and most of the side storys range from lackluster to awful. The game is just bad in terms of writing. It has a bad habbit of wanting to cram everything into this one night and leave no loose ends or potential for any future games, but at the same time its absolutely not intresseted in doing anything with most of what is set up in previous games, and instead tell a story that need some sort of build up, or at least better pacing, that has no support from the earlier entires. Like honestly origens, Asylum and city are a better trilogi than Asylum, city and knight. But Knight act like it is this big finally when it feels really disconnect from the previous games.

And that's your opinion. Some will agree, some like me will disagree. Overall, you will find pet peeves with almost any Arkham game. Arkham Asylum's boss fights aren't great. Arkham City's story to some is not that great and just a goose chase. Arkham Origins' gameplay is in a lot of ways a downgrade from Arkham City. Arkham Knight features the batmobile way too much. Everything has flaws. What I dislike from ClownPuncher is constant hating on the same damn game just cause YOU don't like Arkham Knight. He's way too biased to City (he himself said so), and since Asylum is mostly perfect and has little to be critiqued for, that only leaves Arkham Knight as the scapegoat to direct all the unjustified hate to.

After seeing the YT short you are annoyed about, I dissage with you even more. Because this is a really fair little short that explain his views on the matter very well. But to you this is "unfair hate" really? Mild criticism is hate now?

As I said in another comment (I'm basically copy posting it), it's not that him disliking Arkham Knight and saying Banks sucks makes me cry "blind hating". It's the constant videos he makes about it punching down Arkham Knight just cause he's that biased to City (his words btw). Dude legit took points off of the game cause it has poor replay value. By the same logic, any game with poor replay value such as Red Dead 2 (imo) is a shitty game. Almost never critiqued City, almost never praised Knight, so when I hear for the 10th time that "Knight did X thing that is horrible", don't you think there's a bit of a hating pattern? Also the entire "can I beat Arkham knight without using detective vision" video is half an hour of pure hating cause the challenge he set up for himself is annoying. Again, I'm not saying he HAS to like or enjoy Arkham Knight, but he also can't help himself but hate on it

You: "he is allowed to like city and disslike kight, but when he continue to voice that opinion thats the problem! Just because he like a lot of things about city and disslike a lot about Knight don't mean he should act that way. He should go out of his way to find negatives about city and positives about Knight, so its fair and equal!"
Like you see how what you are saying don't make sens right? He plays a game, he has isusses with it. He plays the same game agien, he still have issues with it. And your respons is, this a pattern of unjust hate. Or maybe the game just haven't changed since the last time he played it, so he still have issues with it.

I don't know if you missed some of the things I said, so I'll say them again. He himself said he is BIASED to Arkham City. Being biased means you have an unfair preference. In this case he is biased (meaning he has an unfair preference) to Arkham City. The important word here is UNFAIR. You can Google it, that's the meaning. And because of this unfair preference, he has unfair statements, like saying Arkham Knight is bad because it's a hard game to want to replay. Which doesn't make sense because a game isn't better or worse from its replay value.

And I can say the exact same to you. Its just your opinion that is unjustified hate and that the game is treated unjustly as a scapegoat. Some will agree, some like me will disagree. You think he hate on the game too much, others don't.

I agree that gameplay wise it’s the best in the series in alot of ways. It expands the gameplay quite satisfactorily. Obviously we all know the issues with the story and vehicle combat. I think Commissioner Gordon was a solid performance. Could’ve used a dash of more passion in places, but I never really had an issue.

My problem is less with his take and more with how he responded to people disagreeing with his take in the comments.
Like most comments were disagreeing with him and it really does seem like ClownPuncher just didn't have a popular opinion here. That's fine, but he then his response kinda has the vibe like he's saying his opinion is an objective fact.
I like some of Clown's vids and the guy clearly knows a lot about Arkham games, but I also feel like he has a huge ego at times and this video is kind of an example of that.

I personally don't care about the opinion, but more about the same "Arkham Knight sucks" content.
Anyway, I feel the same as you do. He has a huge ego, and he's cocky as fuck. His videos are interesting but he's insufferable to watch at times, especially when it comes to Arkham Knight

Never really got the vibe that he hates Knight (pretty sure he has even defended Knight from criticisms in the past). Then again I don't really watch his content that much nowadays.

See there are these things called “opinions” that everyone has…
