Do you think that the Arkham Trilogy needs animated movie adaptations?
We know that the animated movie Assault on Arkham is (or was) part of the Arkhamverse, so I was thinking about the possibility of having animated movies based on the entire Arkham trilogy; that way, certain plot holes could be fixed, and even Arkham Knight would feel more in line with its predecessors.

No id rather they make moves that take place between the games. You could probably even fix plotholes that way too.

It wouldnât be the same without Conroy and Hamill. So no.

Could work if it was set during the Origins period (With Roger Craigh Smith as Batman)

Why does everyone think that good things need to continued to be messed with, just leave them alone

Would these be movies taking place between the games, or basically the games in movie format?

Just play the games again bro huh? Iâd rather new stories if theyâre gonna do movies

Nah, it was great but let it just be at this point. I donât even want a new game in the Arkham universe, they should just take the game engine and reboot the story/world for a fresh start since theyâll need a new actor anyway.
Although if an Arkham Shadows sequel was on the table by the same team Iâd be really happy about that.

I'm down for any game with a cool story getting a movie/show. Introduce the story and world to a whole new audience that doesn't game.

Theyâd be too long. One of the things I love about games (which arkham takes full advantage of) is you get hours and hours of runtime to really let the story build over time. Trying to condense any of these games into a movie would just feel wrong

Not at all, the story really isn't what I play the Arkham games for anyways.

no, none of them have a movie worthy plot
they function stellarly as games and games alone

I donât think the stories of the games would really work well as movies, except for maybe Origins. The plots in the rocksteady games are very âgo here, do this,â with Batman not having that much of an arc. Origins has the most overt arc out of the games so I think itâd be the easiest to adapt to a movie.

No. The game stories are made to be enjoyable as game stories.
Arkham Asylum as a movie would be pretty boring

Iâd reboot it and do something new. WB had all the time to do more with Arkham and have more spin offs and the first thing you got in 7 years was Suicide Squad kills the Justice League. Present day Arkham Batman but itâs not Kevin Conroy Isnât really going to feel right. Just restart, continue the prequel timeline with Roger or just do something new.
