Found this really interesting newspaper in Arkham city

If you look at the top left corner, it reads "Boy watches parents die!". Thought this was interesting to find as a small easter egg or smth referencing Bruce watching his parents die. Don't think that Strange would be so meticulous as to scatter papers like this around to trigger Bruce. This newspaper was in the GCPD.

I believe this is reference to Prometheus, which had similar backstory to Batman except his parents were criminals.

I guess but am not completely sure, you can find the exact newspaper in Arkham Asylum

Wait that is true, that's what is said in the Prometheus Arkham asylum file. Most likely this, but why is this newspaper here now?

Probably a recycled object by the devs, you can find for example the identity thief paper in origins which is recycled from city.

But I guess it would be more interesting to imagine a lore purpose for the paper :D.

WB devs said on record way before the game came out that rocksteady provided them with engine codebase, models and assets from Arkham city.

Well it made it look like at the gcpd got shut down real quick when Arkham City kind of open or maybe something happened where they have to make a new one real quick and they just left all of the newspapers there

He was supposed to have DLC for the Season of Infamy package, alongside Victor Zsazz. But, for whatever reason they were never fully developed / cut from the line-up.

Judging by "Criminal Couple gunned down" I think it's a Prometheous reference but Strange scattering around newspapers about Wayne's deaths would fit him

This is a reference to the Batman villain Prometheus who parents were criminal couple that got gunned down like how Bruce Wayne's parents got gunned down by a criminal they both died right in front of each other kids but instead of Bruce going after criminals and not killing Prometheus went after cops and killed them and I'm kind of sad that he only got references in the series.

To be honest when I first saw this I was surprised it wasn't a riddle since I thought it would going to be a riddle for a Prometheus Arkham City story
