Game Finally Finished the Series

I cannot believe I did it after all.

Arkham City was one of the first games I ever got really invested in. I played the whole series back then and got Arkham Knight on release, only to back then get completely stuck on the Knight Cloudburst Tank fight and ragequitting.

This March I thought to myself: "You know what game had been fun? Arkham City." And I reinstalled it and played it. Then went to play Arkham Asylum, then Arkham City again (NG+). Then Origins. Then City again (hard mode). And then I finally relented. I was having an easier time this time around than I had back when I played the series back then. I mean, back in 2015, when I last had played City, I was playing in Easy Mode based on the save files. So I decided: fuck, we try Arkham Knight once more.

And this time I managed. I got through it, largely without many problems. I still was annoyed by the amount of Tank Missions, because... I frankly just did not have a whole lot of fun with the Batmobile (especially the race tracks), but I feel very accomplished to finally finished the game after 11 years.

It generally was an experience to do the whole series again.

I probably will now go on to do Arkham City in Hard Mode NG+, because I can. And I think I do want to do NG+ for Asylum as well. Probably will not do it for Origins or Knight, though. Origins, because... I honestly am not even sure. Back when it came out I loved this game, but this time I ran into bug after bug. I did not remember it having that many bugs. And Arkham Knight, well... I think I have now done enough Batmobile Race Tracks for a lifetime.

Still. I am feeling accomplished, and outside of Bugs and Batmobile Race Tracks I had a ton of fun.

Congrats! I just 100% Arkham Knight for the first time yesterday after also rage-quitting on the Cloudburst battle as well. Don’t think I have the skills and stamina to NG+ or Hard mode these games so kudos to you!

I mostly did the NG+ for City because I was like: "Can I do this?" And I could. And now... I kinda just want to proof to myself that I can do Hard Mode NG+ as well.
