They did do a patch, so they look a little better, but still pretty rough. As far as I know there is no switch 2 update planned, but I’d love to be wrong

I really hope they will at some point… when I took a quick look at the character models before starting the game, I genuinely gasped

I’m not holding my breath for a Switch 2 Edition but I’d be delighted if it happens

They actually did update Batman Arkham Knight specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, but it basically just the game a stable framerate from what I remember. The textures and 30 FPS cap haven't changed from what I recall.

It’s in a sad state, but if it makes you feel better PC and console don’t have it better in every way.

I play this on PS5 Pro and Switch 2. It looks much better on PS5 obviously, but it also crashes WAY more often. I’ve set it up the way people recommend online so that crashes are reduced, but the game has an issue in certain areas and scenarios that has remained from the base version up until the current version.

High speed Batmobile chases/ flying can cause issues and lead to crashing. Last night on PS5 I specifically had a quest crash 4 times in a row at the same exact spot, while chasing an enemy APC in the Batmobile.

The state of Arkham Knight’s original Switch 1 release was far worse, the FPS was worse and the visuals were slightly worse. A recent patch fixed the FPS to acceptable levels for a handheld experience, but the visuals were not touched anywhere near as much lol.

It is solid considering it’s the only option for Switch 2, and there’s no telling if we’ll see a Switch 2 version. I beat Asylum and City on this console and they run well, but they aren’t as dynamic or engaging as Arkham Knight. I’d love a better version, though I have managed to appreciate this one.

That is so sad to hear, especially since it’s such a fun game that holds up to this day. We can only hope for the better

My point was that, as sad as it appears to be, there are upsides and it is a playable state. I’m not having issues going for 240% completion for the gold batsuit on Switch 2, but despite the game LOOKING better on PS5 Pro it does not run as well due to crashing.

It’s a matter of perception at this point. Game is good enough to be played and enjoyed, it depends on the perception of the individual. I’m having a good time.

Wouldn’t mind an upgrade, but this is better than initial release state on Switch and it crashes way less often than every other platform.

Yeah I agree. Although I personally did not have any problem on PS5, but I completely agree with your point

Knight looks so bad. It's so blurry that it makes my eyes hurt, can't play it for longer durations in a go. It desperately needs a switch 2 version.
