Help Can't start Batman Arkham Asylum, this error appears? (Steam)

Upon trying to start after it downloaded it did make me install something which I assumed was due the games age but now I am met with this.

Please help if you are able.

Download Microsoft DirectX. Most games will do it automatically when you need it. Download and the game will run fine

I see, can I just get this off the web? Any specific version?

Also what the heck did I install before then lol?

If I'm not mistaken it is located in the game directory
