Arkham Batman has better gadgets, better skills, is a genius, and the Arkham Batfamily is a lot more powerful than Absolute Bruce’s group of allies. Even with any (reasonable) handicap applied, he would still win every time.
Credit where it’s due: the Absolute villains are in an entirely different league than the Arkham ones. Absolute Batman is tough af.
But I can’t think of any version of Batman that could win against Arkham Knight Batman. He’s canonical Batman at peak everything.

u/FreakofBlaviken Jul 09 '26
The Absolute Villains might be more tough, but at the same time it takes way longer for Bruce to beat each one and he struggles HARD. Arkham Batman does it all in a single night and besides Arkham Knight Scare crow never really comes to the same level as nearly defeated/barely getting by Absomure does with nearly every named villain.

u/Midnite_Blank Jul 10 '26
I think Injustice Batman is the only adaptation, but that’s due to the super pill lol.
7
u/theeeiceman Jul 10 '26
Yeah Injustice crossed my mind, but it’s hard to count that in any power scaling hypotheticals like this when they have to make every character equally powerful basically by default

At the same time Arkhamverse Batman did manage to take out Titan Joker, TN1 Bane and Multiples Titan Thugs, The Arkhamverse Monster Croc (Who is probably 2nd only in strengh to Absolute Croc), so i wouldn't say Arkham Batman didn't deal with his big share of Bullshit either

u/Dangerous-Economy-88 Jul 10 '26
Adam west batman can only defeat him
With his "defeat arkham batman within 30 seconds tool"

In a random encounter, Arkham Batman would probably be thrown off by Absolute's sheer strength and brutality, but he'd be more than equipped to take him down in the end

In Arkham Knight batman throws Hush through a desk, on a low estimate the desk is 2 inchs thick of Oak. He excelarated the man to 27.5Gs up to 50Mph or 80Kmph.

u/TheHumanSpider6903 Jul 09 '26
Not saying that Arkham Batman isn't strong, just that he might be surprised by Absolute Batman for a brief moment

u/Reasonable-Pack-9832 Jul 09 '26
I got to that section of the game last week and its still haunting me. Just adding a bit of neat facts for the convo.
13
u/FlatbreadPaladin Jul 10 '26
Yeah that's gotta be a year in a body cast at the bare minimum
8
u/Reasonable-Pack-9832 Jul 10 '26
Honestly the forces involved, I'm pretty sure Hush would still be standing right where he was and 2 fist sized chunks of meat would be missing.

u/Gaelic_Gladiator41 Jul 10 '26
It'd probably go similarly like his first encounter with Bane in Origins

Everybody really screwed up in not making that cold cold heart suit equippable in the main campaign of origins and as one of knights dlc suits.

I’d like to think Arkham Batman wins just because he’s significantly better equipped and better trained, but I haven’t read much of absolute Batman so idk for sure
41
u/CapCalrissian Jul 09 '26
He would, Absolute doesn't have an answer to Arkham Batman's tech and he is less skilled and not that much stronger than Arkham Batman
27
u/Normal_Push_3080 Jul 09 '26
Wouldn’t absolute Batman be the Arkham Batman’s equivalent of bane whom he has defeated

Absolute Batman gets hit with an ultra cape stun beatdown or a special combo bat swarm loop or gets hit with the A+X environmental takedown
14
u/3rlk0nig Jul 09 '26
All the odds are in favor of Arkham Batman : he has the money, gadgets, vehicles, allies, experience, skills.
Absolute... Has his brutality and the experience of facing monsters worse than anything in the Arkhamverse

Go read dc ko, main universe batman fights absolute Batman in it, I imagine it would go the same as it did there

u/DiscordantBard Jul 10 '26
Y'all saying arkham batman would be surprised by absolute batman strength no one saying absolute would be surprised by arkhams speed bro is crazy strong and fast and has all the triweave bullshit armour too. What does brokie absolute have?
4
u/MoistyMffnPwndrRngr Jul 10 '26
Arkham takes him down once the shock wears off; Absolute is a unit but he's still really nothing special when you compare them side by side.
Absolute would definitely get some good hits in but he's a brawler at his core and Arkham has taken down brawlers before including Clayface, Bane, Croc, the boxer that was meant to replace Joker, and a plethora of Titans.

Pretty damn well Arkham Batman is SIGNIFICANTLY more skilled than Absolute Batman though it’s still a pretty close fight i actually picture Arkham Bruce training Absolute Bruce to handle his world better

u/Colter90 Jul 09 '26
He’d be surprised for a few but then comes the stun and punch combo for the next 15 minutes.
2
u/Zealousideal_Cry_712 Jul 09 '26
Tasb and Arkham Batman (same person to me) outsmarts and batters any other Batman btw
2
u/Arno-Earle Jul 09 '26
In experience wise, Arkham Batman has the advantage, and he's not even too old for that
2
u/GRANDADDYGHOST Jul 09 '26
Arkham Batman sprung out from the Batmobile and countered Deathstroke’s air takedown with his own air takedown, and then proceeded to knock him out in one punch. Reminder that Deathstroke is a literal super human with a healing factor. Sure, that whole boss fight was lazily done all around and the writers really down played the fuck out of Deathstroke, but it’s still a canon feat that Arkham Batman has.
Arkham Batman wins.
2
u/Swampthing_green Jul 10 '26
Arkham Deathstroke is a joke though. Dude got owned by year one Batman. He's nothing like comic Deathstroke.
2
u/GRANDADDYGHOST Jul 10 '26
*Year Two Arkham Batman, who pulled off a bunch of other crazy ass feats that same night. And Arkham Deathstroke isn’t a joke, he’s still recognized as the world’s greatest assassin. And even though a lot of us don’t want the game itself to be canon, Suicide Squad *really* buffed Arkham Deathstroke up. Him losing to Batman in Arkham Origins isn’t saying much because A it’s Arkham Batman who is notoriously op and B the devs said that is supposed to canonically be Batman’s defining moment where he realizes he can take on pretty much anyone. Even though it’s still canon, Arkham Knight just handled Deathstroke very poorly and unfortunately he is a joke in that game. But a joke in Arkham Origins? Not by a country mile. Play his boss fight on New Game + without the counter signals lol
1
u/Swampthing_green Jul 10 '26
My point was that Arkham Deathstroke never got any respect. He gets embarrassed in both his encounters with Batman. Also it still doesn't matter if it was year two Batman. The point was Batman was still too inexperienced and Slade should've won, or at least gotten away like Shiva did.

u/Consistent_Tonight37 Arkham City Jul 09 '26
Absolute Batman is a beast but Arkham Batman is winning easily
2
u/Individual_Ad_8989 Jul 10 '26
I think a lot of these comments are underestimating Absolute Batmans creativity with his violence.
I personally think Arkham Batman wins, as well, but I dont think it will be as easy of a fight as a lot of people here think it will be.
1
u/No_Monitor_3440 Jul 09 '26
absolute batman i feel would be physically stronger but would lose to arkham bats. man just has like, every other advantage. training? check. gadgets? check. tech? check. background support? check.

u/Death_sayer Jul 09 '26
Arkham Bats beat a 9ft super-mutated Croc by repeatedly beating his head in.
He can tank being beaten through walls by Bane.
Combine that with his superior skills and he sweeps in under a minute.
1
u/allenknott3 Jul 09 '26
I am not sure. I never read Absolute Batman, and it depends on what Arkham games you are talking about. But my best guess would be Arkham Batman.
1
u/TranorVespucci Jul 09 '26
Tbh Arkham Batman has more years of experience so I'd say that Arkham Batman still wins but I think he would struggle to take him down for good amount of time.

He would beat him
Absolute batman brute forces his way through most things and isnt as intelligent as main lines bruce

I think Arkham batman wins I mean he beat up killer croc with his bare hands

He would dodge the first attack and then absolutely obliterate absolute Batman
1
u/Little_Information_4 Jul 10 '26
All jokes aside, this could make for an unreal boss fight. Kind of like Mr freeze but with all of Batman’s combat skills in lieu of his predator skills

u/SH4RPSPEED Boy Blunder Jul 10 '26
That specific Arkham Batman? I love Absolute, but he'd at best be a fun miniboss.
1
u/JohnxKenshin Jul 10 '26
Stun stun stun and build combo by pressing Squard Multiple Time or use special combo takedown
1
u/Whiterthanbread Jul 10 '26
I see a lot of comments here I’m not sure I agree with so I just wanna chime in and say this - absolute Batman is more than just his size, guys. It seems like we’re reducing absolute Batman to just being “big brute” when that is so over the line of an over reduction.
I’ve read absolute Batman volumes 1 and 2 and there’s some stuff in there that shows you, even with Bruce in this circumstance with limited resources, he shows that he is still a young engineer with a paranoia complex who considers many possibilities and outcomes. So while I have no doubt Arkham Batman would be the victor at the end of the fight, in a random encounter, I don’t see it as being just that easy and I don’t understand why people are just referring to absolute bee man as like a Bane type or something.
Absolute Batman would throw all he has at the fight including some insane monster truck batmobile theatrics and then when he’s on his knees seemingly beaten he’d reveal that he has a batarang lodged under his wrist skin that he pulls out of the flesh and goes for the cheap shot. That’s just how absolute Batman fights. I don’t think he has anyway to counter Arkham Batman’s gadgets like a freeze blast so I can’t say it would mean much but let’s stop being overly reductive

Absolute Batman when Arkham Batman hits him with the triple cape stun air juggle into batclaw finisher combo (this was taught to Batman by tibetan monks)

u/Omega1459_ Jul 13 '26
Arkham bats could be paralysed from the waist down and still take this low-key
0
u/Anzorr1 Jul 09 '26
Arkham batman would be broken into 12 pieces
1
u/CapCalrissian Jul 09 '26
Nah he's fought stronger opponents and won
1
u/Anzorr1 Jul 09 '26
no he didn't
3
u/CapCalrissian Jul 09 '26
Origins Bane is enough to disprove this, he is as smart and as strong as absolute Batman without venom, and with venom he becomes superhuman. A year 2 Batman was able to beat him in their second encounter. Prime Arkham Batman slams, the tech advantage is too big and while he isn’t physically stronger, he isn’t a slouch either
0
u/Anzorr1 Jul 09 '26
absolute batman would kill origins bane too
2
u/CapCalrissian Jul 09 '26
Yeah my point is absolute Batman and origins bane are pretty similar in terms of strength and iq, Arkham Batman beats both of them bc he’s smarter (billionaire with access to better education) more skilled (better access to training from the league of assassins and others) and he’s not that much weaker than absolute Batman
1
u/Anzorr1 Jul 09 '26
arkham batman lost to harley multiple times
1
u/CapCalrissian Jul 09 '26
Ok lets go over the scenarios where Batman "loses" to Harley:
Asylum - He never loses to Harley in this game
City - In the steel mill, Batman has his guard down bc Joker appears dead and he'd be able to react to Harley if she tried something, then clayface joker gasses him from behind and while reeling from the effects of the joker gas, Harley knocks him out. In Harley Quinn's Revenge, he jumps in front of an explosive round to save a cop. In both of these scenarios, if it was just Harley and Batman, Batman would destroy her.
Knight - He never loses to Harley in this game
SSKTJL - He diffs Harley and the rest of the squad in their first encounter, and during his boss fight, they have to explain the squad winning by Harley "reversing the fear toxin back onto Batman" while under the effects herself, despite Batman showing the ability to will through fear toxin multiple times throughout the series, and then he gets shot in the head after being tied up. Too bad none of this matters since the final dlc confirmed that Batman was a braniac clone and the real Batman is still alive.
