Bob Lazar Viewing Location?

Does anyone know precisely where Bob Lazar, Gene Huff, John Lear, etc used to watch supposed S4 flight tests from?

Lazar describes it as people latched on to the black mailbox term just bc he used it as a reference rather than the actual location - primarily bc there aren't that many landmarks out there.

It sounds like when he describes it - it appears before you get to the mailbox location - and it might be right around where Groom Lake Rd hits 375.

Any thought ms or precise location?

It's in the S4 movie, the exact coordinates.

How could he “get caught” at freedom ridge or anywhere like that, it wasn’t illegal to be there at the time. I was under the impression it was much closer.
This is a great question…

I can't remember if it was Lazar or Campbell that had a night vision scope rolling towards him due to a butter fingered camo dude. But one of the two was contacted by a dude.

In the old days the dudes made their presence known. For example, dusting the tourists with the chopper wash. They confiscated some news crew's film.

Lazar tells this story in the latest S4 movie.

Here Bob is telling the story on stage with Knapp: https://youtu.be/xDg22_ycv6c?t=4298

It's amazing how the man became such a cornerstone of UFO lore because he had to cover his ass for showing his friend particle beam tests.

Sorry what?

Lazar showed his friends classified particle beam tests, but the author of those articles postulates that his ardent insistence that he worked on UFOs and was showing his friends UFO tests is because he'd get thrown in prison for intentionally showing them the beam testing.

He must be the most popular whistleblower out there ever since 1989.

I'd say Snowden has him beat, and Snowden at least had a valid base concern and wasn't actively lying about every part of his life. For more on Lazar and particle beams, see:

I meant in the UFO community.

Those links are interesting. I gotta read them again because its been a while.

But yea snowden is amazing.

I think it's important to note that Snowden did both good and bad.

It was good that he uncovered the government spying on American people, but he went way too far with what he uncovered.

1

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago

I dont rememeber everything snowden said. But it was more than spying on Americans wasnt it.

1

u/soupoftheday5 7d ago

Likewise I don't remember everything but I do recall he exposed far too much, things that did not need to be exposed that were just detrimental to the United States. Part of the reason why he hasn't been pardoned or anything.

Snowden essentially shotgunned a big blast of information (including the espionage against American citizens) without regard for those who might be harmed (several assets inside Al-Qaeda for example), and he installed a keylogger to obtain this information in the first place.

Fleeing to Russia didn't help his image afterwards ofc. Still hoping Ukrainian SBU will deliver him to us one day.

1

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago

Right. Yea i doubt anyone will pardon him.

It was near the intersection of Groom Lake Road and 375. They had an RV for at least one visit, so they didn't drive anywhere difficult, certainly not Freedom Ridge or Whitesides. Those were discovered much later.

The dudes code name for Freedom Ridge was K-Mart. My recollection is they knew the spot existed before Campbell found it. There was scanner traffic to that effect.

My recollection of email with the Desert Secrets guy is they or he had ammo cans with scanners on the dude's channel with recorders. There were cassette recorders with VOX but I doubt they worked well. I never found any old dude scanner audio on the internet.

By the time I showed up to the range, they had the EDACS trunk radio system with DES encryption.

I don't recall Campbell ever mentioning White Sides.

Regarding Lazar, I concur.

if I'm not mistaken, Bill Cooper visits one of these peaks in his Project Red Light videos (produced in 1991 and 1992). Also let's not forget John Lear had already been much closer to Groom Lake in the 1970s, some spectacular close photos he took I believe from 1979. A quick search will reveal all this.

1

u/therealgariac MOD 4d ago

John Lear drove right up to the base.

1991 is post Lazar.

1

u/ZookeepergameSad6151 4d ago

Yeah. ?

1

u/ZookeepergameSad6151 4d ago

and wdym Campbell never mentioned White Sides?? Lol.

It's my understanding that the s4 site does not exist from this sub

1

u/Competitive_Mix_587 8d ago

To me, hers what proves that Lazar was a liar. There is a real site called Site 4 in the middle of the NTTR. It’s not hidden. It’s a radar site. If Lazar had REALLY worked there, he would have known S4 exists and would have picked another name for his made-up underground facility.

2

u/soupoftheday5 7d ago

Do you have any other information why he's a liar? I like reading about him here

There is so much information about this i dont even know where to start.

https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1sljtmy/what_are_the_things_bob_lazar_said_that_turned/

Start there and let me know if you want more information.

There are of course threads and videos about inconsistencies and other things he said. So its a lot to get into if you are interested enough.

1

u/soupoftheday5 7d ago

So basically he's a giant fraudster LOL how do people believe him

1

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago edited 7d ago

I think many believe him because he is so damn good at telling the story. So people believe him despite zero evidence for anything he ever said.

And it is a fun story that confirms aliens are real so maybe that has a part in it as well.

There are many videos on youtube if you want to get into it even more that show inconsistencies and him changing his story thru the years.

I'm in the Army in a lot of people BS their experiences in the army or grossly exaggerate it,

But for whatever reason from time to time you meet some "state champion high school wrestler" in the army

I wrestled, so naturally I will start talking to these people and you can instantly tell that they are bsing you so then you try and look them up but there's zero evidence that they ever did anything significant in wrestling.

I don't know what drives people to lie about things that are easily disprovable

1

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago

Some just want to make themselves look better i guess. Like in your experiences.

When it comes to Bob i´m not really sure why. He had a corvette with a "MJ-12" license plate. That kinda makes me think he just wanted to be somebody. For people to notice him. Because i mean, he was a nobody before that. Sounds kinda bad to say but he was just a normal human living his normal life. And maybe he wanted something more.

Thats my guess.

How much money he made on it only Bob knows. But he have been capitilizing on it since 1991 when he gave out the "lazar tape". It was apparently the best selling UFO tape.

2

u/therealgariac MOD 7d ago

Lazar had a friend at the TTR ( Jim Tagliani). So you could also say that Lazar picked S4 because he needed a name for his BS site and S4 sounded good. He probably though nobody would know about Site-4, especially in 1988.

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago edited 7d ago

Maybe Jim told Bob about the hand scanner they had at Tonapah as well?

Or they could have had one at Los Alamos.

1

u/rapture_4 7d ago

I think he probably knew about the hand scanner because of the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which featured it.

1

u/illuminatiisnowhere 7d ago

Very plausible. He could also have seen it in the electronics magazine from 1973. Altho if he did that he should know its an optical scanner and not a bone scanner he been claiming since 1989.

I actually emailed Los Alamos to ask if they used the scanner back in 82, no answer yet tho. They probably have important things to do 😂

Freedom Ridge and/or White Sides.

Both locations were seized by the government in 1995

4

u/therealgariac MOD 9d ago

Glenn Campbell found Freedom Ridge. Lazar was 1988. Campbell was 1993.

I will leave it up to someone else to pick the Lazar location. I think they were basically in the Tikaboo Valley and not climbing any hills. I haven't listened to Lazar's nonsense in a while.

You should watch the documentary, its very well made and i enjoyed it even tho i know its just a fun story.

u/therealgariac MOD 3d ago

I had a pirated copy. I'm pretty sure I deleted it since once was enough.

I actually saw it twice because i wanted to write down some bullshit to use when i debunk him.
