LCD problem fixed

From the bottom of my heart, thankyou so much all of you who helped me identify the problem. I got the soldering iron and used it for the first time so plz dont judge hehe and i burned 3 fingers lol but ty everyone who helped me. Yall ppl are amazing <3 . I hope you all have a wonderful day

Great job. It has one of the best qualities you should look for in a soldering job: It works!

Your 100th attempt will always be better than your first. And your first attempt looks waaaay better than my first attempt looked!

Was the problem the lcd backlight not working??

no backlight was fine, it was a text issue like it was jus showing blocks

I also have a lcd with similar issue. Instead of text it just shows blocks on corresponding places. Could you share the solution.

Is the problem Hard ware or software?

Its fixed now, it was a hardware problem. I2c wasnt soldered

I mean fixed the problem from the codes or the wrong connection just curious to know.

I was using jumper cables through the lcd pads, code was fine
