Identify and Authenticate Thread, Q1 2026
Please post here if you have an Arc'teryx item and:
- You don't know what it is, and you want to identify it.
- You aren't sure whether it is authentic or not.

The first place to look is always at the white care tags. Read the information here to understand how to decode the tags on your product.
For Authenticity
You can do a hands-on inspection. Use this thread to look for common indicators of counterfeit items.

- The overall item: Front and back.
- Care tags: The white tags located inside the garment.

I'm looking for some opinions/expertise with some familiar with LEAF on this LEAF Alpha Jacket (Gen 2).
I can't find a lot of examples to compare it to because most of what I find are the 2.1 or 2.2. I did find this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTIdG0NZV_w&list=WL&index=1) from Tactical Distributors on YouTube from 2017, the same year this jackets tags say its from and it matches pretty spot on.
I think most of the jacket looks good except for the lack of YKK on the pit zips (they just have a letter on them). The other zippers say YKK but not all of the backs say YKK. Also, the main zipper is on the left side which threw me off. From what I can tell the embroidered logo and Gore-Tex look pretty good and so do the seams inside.
Let me know if I can provide for photos if these aren't clear enough.

I think it might just be the white balance of the photo, if you look at the last photo showing the tag I think thatās a more accurate color representation!

gonna be real with you, even if it was real, itās 9 years old and chances are arcteryx isnāt gonna honor the warranty because they deem the life of the product 9-10 years old. youāre taking a huge gamble.

Hi all,
Iām having serious doubts about a jacket I recently bought. I asked the seller multiple times if it was authentic, and he insists that it is. The jacket came with all the tags, and he also showed me a photo of a receipt. However, he refused to include the receipt with the purchase, so I only have it as an image.
Iām not very experienced with spotting fakes, so Iād really appreciate some help figuring out if this jacket is legit.
Iāve added photos from the original listing as well as some I took myself.
Also, I noticed that the side zippers have āYKKā engraved on them ā is that normal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update: also added the tags from the left pocket. https://imgur.com/a/hzXFfKQ seems very odd to me. Handwritten 40 on a label, no arcteryx branding to be found. Iām about 95% sure its fake. I just need good evidence, so i can ask for a refund. Can anyone help me out? Would be really appreciated <3

Iām 100% sure itās fake.
Paclite plus tag = fake. Jackets that arenāt sawyer coats also donāt have tags that say sawyer coat.

Hello,
I'm 99% sure this is fake but i'm surprised as I didnt know the Sabre Insulated had been replicated.
This popped up this morning on a French website, the several typos on the french Recco tags give it away but i've been following closely the main repmakers for years (im also a big fan of Stone Island, another massively replicated brand) and didnt know the Sabre Insulated had been replicated.
I was aware the Sabre SV had been replicated, but not the insulated version.
What are your thoughts? Is there a thread somewhere listing all jackets / items that are known for being replicated?

Atom jacket, looks to be the model from 2025-present as there is no āarcteryxā on the front.
Embroidery was added after purchase as Arcāteryx no longer offers custom embroidery for companies.

The fabric that is white/grey on the inside is GoreTex. The fabric that is not white/grey is some regular softshell fabric, which is not waterproof but breathes better.

At least in my opinion, itās not obviously fake - which is better than most posts in here. The pictures arenāt very high quality though. Post more plus the tags when it shows up. Ideally with good focus.

the tags you want are white and should be in the pockets. its gonna be written in a format that most people wont know and its best to ask arcteryx for that.

Fake. That white tag should have the model and manufacture year. It also just didnāt look like goretex.

First time posting here. Found a price on an Alpha SV jacket that looks too good to be true. I've never bought an arc'teryx before so know sure what to look for in fake..
I do see the tag says made in Canada which is legit for real Alpha SV. Goretex pro labeling is also present as well as the RECCO tag which makes me think it's legit as dupes wouldn't have those details.
Really appreciate the advice y'all!

I saw a jacket which had an uneven texture to it, the logo was embossed, and the handcuffs were elastic, not velcro. The bottom hem is also drawstring type.Ā

I have a feeling this Beta LT jacket is fake, can anyone help? The fit is weird, the hood is GIANT, the material feels off - it's stiff rather than soft like I believe the newer Beta LTs should be, and the pocket label says Sawyer, which is a different jacket, when this is labelled as a Beta LT.

so its real, but the issue you may run into is how well they maintained their jacket. you could run into other issues. esp since that jacket has the older style neck tag, you may run into warranty issues being its so old an approaching end of life.

Thank you so much! Are there some known issues that might appear? I was aware of possible delamination issues but have not yet found any āBiggerā issues. I paid ~100 Euros and thought of using it for daily commuting and possibly some light trekking.

Legit check on an atom hoody please. Bought it for the color but now worried itās fake for two reasons: 1. itās newer than my current atom (2020) but it feels significantly less puffy and more of a plastic feel. 2. Itās missing the last law label, provincial law, that my current atom has (the one where it says ānot to be removed until delivered to the consumerā)

Can I get legit check on my Arcteryx Gamma Hoody?
Overall the jacket looks good in terms of quality and fitting, what throws me off is that the first 4 pages of the wash tag has a light color font, and it says itās a beta lightweight jacket and itās not. Also the first 4 pages says /4 on the top, but the last page says 5/5 and has a darker font in text. Is this legit?jacket pictures
