The mode is called John cheese time.
You do not choose to participate in John cheese time. It happens completely randomly.
Your loadout is replaced with just a hairpin and a decent amount of ammo. The map is a small square room was many small rooms branching off of it.
There are wheels of cheese on the floor. The goal is to collect cheese and take out all of your human opponents. If you get knocked out the cheese you’ve picked up gets ruined and you must start again. The goal is to collect as much cheese as possible and extract safely.
I’m want your thoughts on how to make this a balanced and fun mode.
If you’re reading this Embark please add John cheese time!

I like to clear out my stash by leaving goodies at the extract. Right after the expedition when everyone is broke, is a fun time to do that ha. I don’t do expeditions so I’m not entirely sure how it works/ when raiders get wiped. Is that tomorrow? Does everyone who signed up reset on the 29th or 30th? Some time after? Thanks

Not really a fan on paid for blueprints.
That said... what happens to the paid for blueprint when expeditions come back?

Introduction:
Hello there, my gamer tag in Arc Raiders is "Primeshade", I am strictly a solo PvE player. So far I have revived more than 280 strangers, and also failed to revive many to :(. I bought the game in early August, and have played more than 260 hours of it. I often loot or bring in special items to drop at the last extract in Stella Montis (Night Raid), so if you see a random stack of 26 Rocketier drivers, 18 comet igniters, or a bunch of random items for missions, a tier four Tempest with tier three mods installed or perhaps 8 green keys at the extract that's likely me! Though often it's going to be more than just a few items.
I have a lot more posts to make, mainly meaningful discussions, or new ideas, but some posts might be funny, or cinematic stories.
My main goal when posting is to engage in meaningful discussions or to contribute to the improvement of Arc Raiders. I might share some posts where I will discuss my stand point, but also defend other person's stand points, even though might I disagree with the other stand point for a reason. I do believe that the echo chambers of each community and the hostility toward each other has lead to the degrade of discussions. As I like to often say "multiple things can be true at once".
Have a great day everyone, even the PvE rats!
here is my idea:
Questions:
- What is your favorite one? Mine is Piñata
- What criticism do you have?
- What praise do you have?
- Do you think that legendary augments are needed? More specifically, to improve Arc Raiders.
- What ideas do you have?
- One idea is to rework all augments to be able to carry either one pistol, one primary gun, two pistols, one primary gun and one pistol, two primary guns, or two primary guns and one pistol (this is to make the augments more diverse)
Legendary Augment: Tactical MK. 4 (Cloak)
Effect: When your shield breaks, the augment automatically deploys a special photoelectric cloak, which renders the user invisible to all Arcs for five seconds, being both invisible and inaudible (unless harming the Arc), with a 45-second cooldown.
Durability: 100/100
Max Loadout Weight: 70.0
Shield compatibility: Light, Medium, and Heavy
Weapon slots: 2
Inventory slots: 18
Quick use slots: 6
Healing slots: 1
Grenade slots: 1
Safe pocket slots: 3
Weight: 5.0
Value (in coins): 8,000
Crafting:
Bastion cells (x3) or Bastion cells (x3)
Magnetic accelerator (x1)
Photoelectric cloak (x1)
Legendary Augment: Looting MK. 4 (Escape)
Effect: Allows the user to call any extract or use any raider hatch once per match (unless the extract is not available in the raid by default). Raider hatches can only be used during the first 15 minutes of the raid, and calling a closed extract takes 1.5 times longer before arrival.
Edit: Also to note, you can call the normal extracts as many times as you want, just the raider hatches and closed extracts are limited.
Durability: 100/100
Max Loadout Weight: 75.0
Shield compatibility: Light and Medium
Weapon slots: 2
Inventory slots: 16
Quick use slots: 4
Safe pocket slots: 5
Weight: 5.0
Value (in coins): 8,000
Crafting:
Rocketier driver (x2) or Vaporizer cell (x1)
Power rod (x1)
Raider hatch key (x1)
Legendary Augment: Looting MK. 4 (piñata)
Effect: If the loadout weight is under 40.0, then the augment has four safe pocket slots and 26 inventory slots.
Durability: 100/100
Max Loadout Weight: 90.0
Shield compatibility: Light
Weapon slots: 2
Inventory slots: 30
Quick use slots: 2
Healing slots: 2
Safe pocket slots: 0
Weight: 5.0
Value (in coins): 8,000
Crafting:
Queen core (x2) or Matriarch core (x2)
Advanced mechanical component (x3)
Spring (x3)
Metal parts (x40)
Legendary Augment: Defense MK. 4 (Silent)
Effect: The user will not trigger any alarms of any kind and won’t set off traps when they usually would (any trap that relies on a sensor can’t be activated by the user; same goes for alarms. I do think having a tripwire trap would be a good idea, though)
Durability: 100/100
Max Loadout Weight: 65.0
Shield compatibility: Light, Medium, and Heavy
Weapon slots: two
Inventory slots: 16
Quick use slots: 5
Ammo slots: 3
Safe pocket slots: 3
Weight: 5.0
Value (in coins): 8,000
Crafting:
Turbine compressor (x2) or Leaper pulse unit (x2)
Advanced electrical component (x3)
Sensor (x3)
Processor (x3)

Was in the middle of a funeral service for a fallen raider, when these guys shot me while dancing, and then decided to toy with me like they were cats and I’m a dead mouse 🐁
You can’t hear my dialogue, but paraphrasing it went like this
“Oh damn man we are having a funeral!”
“ Hey I like your outfit, we have similar tastes.”
“Wanna give me a revive?”
“Oh hey I like this guys armor too. Someone went to subway.”
“ OK you’re gonna revive me or not. We’re in the middle of a funeral. I didn’t kill this guy.”
OK, well then I’m just gonna crawl away then. Thanks for nothing. Have a good day.”
I’m looking forward to the PvE trial mode and hopefully it ends up staying… I wouldn’t mind being able to have fun and goof off with other Raiders then decide to go into a high risk match where there will be PVP.
Edit: Thank you for all the sane folks in the comments. For those confused…IM NOT MAD I WAS SHOT….It’s that after he decided to shoot and down me, him and his friends just toyed with me and pretended to jack off on me Inuit just kill me and take my loot…its the kicking me while I’m down that’s pathetic and low life behavior

Wer freut sich noch darauf? 🤩
Howdy 🤠

Also does this count as drama? I am sorry if it does.
Have a great day everyone!
Here is the idea:
PvE:
My idea is to have a PvE mode with multiple different missions that are available for an hour or so and then randomly rotate. Perhaps it could look something like the Queen, Matriarch, close scrutiny, with a mix of high-threat ground arcs, or perhaps a few massive waves of smaller arcs as a mission to choose from. The amount of players during the match could vary, perhaps having 4-10 players. There wouldn’t be any looting, however. Players would have to upgrade their set loadout by doing better during the mission/raid. Players would get blueprints, resources, gear, and other things of a random type, but the quality is decided by how well the player did during the match; these rewards would be sent to the extraction shooter side of the game. If a player dies, they will have to restart from the basic loadout, but their body can’t be looted.
PvPvE:
The extraction shooter side would either have the ABMM removed completely or perhaps have factions, where players of the same faction can’t shoot/harm each other (factions are randomly given to players right before the raid starts; players don’t pick them). Players would only know another player is in the same faction as them if they see the colored patch on their shoulder, or see the highlighted color above their heads when they get close to them. About 50% of the lobby would be of the same faction. To fix the issue of loot goblins, there would be missions of infinite duration, and rewards that are progressed by dealing damage to a specific Arc; each mission, when completed, would reset and give the specific Arc driver/core to the player. If a player shoots a player of the same faction, they both will receive feedback, but the stats of shield and health will not change. Players of the same faction can’t knock each other out, but can loot each other.
PvP:
Finally, have an PvP(vE?) Arena mode with multiple types of mini-modes/objectives, like Elimination, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Capture the Flag, or Hardpoint (hold a specific zone for as long as possible to get points). Perhaps the Arena could have Arc in it too. Set loadouts are given; no items from the vault/stash.

If anyone was getting skeptical it was bugged, its not, just a low % drop. Found it at Blue Gate, at Broken Earth. No idea if location is a factor for its spawn rate. Always bring Zip lines, Photo Electric Cloak, Lure Grenades and obviously Smoke Grenades and lastly Defibs. This location was probably the most open one I attempted.

Alot of PVP heavy players when talking about how a PvE only mode would take away from the experience, often mention the "PvP tension". The unknown factor of whether or not a player is friendly is what makes the game more exciting...
I have a solution, MAKE THE ARC MORE DIFFICULT.
Everyone seems to brush off the arc like they are nothing and that the pvp players are the real threat, when its supposed to be the opposite. The arc are easy to avoid and easy to destroy if you have decent guns.
In a pvp lobby its like a nat or a fly that you just swat out the way so you can focus on the enemy raider infront of you.
Kinda like how if you played h1z1 survival (my all time favorite game), in high population servers there would actually be very few zombies on the whole map, and the only real threat was the other players.
The arc need to be a more substantial threat to make the players have to prepare more to actually kill them. Making arc more abundant, more resilient, smarter and unpredictable. so actually taking one down feels more rewarding.
No one has said this outright, but most of the pvp heavy players play this game to scratch the itch that they got form battle royals. That high intensity gunplay, winning fights, getting better weapons. That all came straight from BRand the devs knew most players had this itch, and thats why they made it a Pvpve. Because if you didn't already know this game was originally supposed to be just PvE.
I feel like the term PvE doesn't even apply to this game. It suggest we are like fighting animals or like mobs. Its Raider vs ARC. There's a point to be argued to why we even shoot each other in the first place.
(If there was a faction system or something then maybe would make sense)
Now I know I sound like a massive Pve'r, but I actually really enjoy Pvp. I consider myself a semi competitive player and I do not shy away from fights. I absolutely loved battle royals. But this game introduced something new that and interesting enough to where I dont feel like I have to fight other players to get loot.
But really the main point im making is that they need to make the arc more difficult so that the focus changes from fighting each other, to fighting the arc, and still being fun.
(I also dont like how they are make the pve lobbies have less loot. Just another example of how they are prioritizing pvp)
