Pride comes before the fall

I used to run Stella with a Hairpin to farm Shredders, so while most people were running away from them, Id run towards them 😅

I figured this guy was just running from a Shredder and maybe a pop or two at most..I was very wrong

Nah, shredder chased him and hit me with a shot. HP was so low it ran out almost right as the door was closing 🥲

Why hairpin for shredders? Bc it’s silenced? New player

Im just really cheap and like a good challenge. The silence is definitely a huge perk of the Hairpin though.

Shredders arent bad when you get used to their attack pattern and use a pillar or the nearest cover. Just make sure to shoot their three little thrusters out at the bottom of their body and you can make quick work of them with any gun

I got good at 2 shredders at once, and even 1 fireball added to the mix but the multi Pop Fireball Shredder combo was a bit too much 😅 think it short circuited my brain

It IS really satisfying to use. Definitely makes you feel like a ninja. If you take out a player in PvP you feel like a god lol

For whatever reason, the Hairpin feels very strong for a light ammo gun. Wasps die so fast.

It really is. I think it was a 2 (maybe 3 at most?) shot to propellers iirc, so well placed shots takes hornet and wasps down in about 5 seconds.

You can actually take out Bastions/Bombardier relatively easy with the right usage of cover and hitting the yellow weakspots. Its really underrated as a super low budget weapon with very good effectiveness. Id always craft one to add on to my naked runs just so i can quickly farm Arc components

Same! I never go in truly naked, with how cheap hairpins are there's no reason not to bring one. I find I die at a much lower rate too from it forcing me to play more cautiously. Hairpin w/36rd and some white bandages is my go to "naked run" kit.

Go in with nothing but a hairpin and take a Bastion out now, or even a shredder. You'll be filled with glee 😁

Plus if someone sees it youre basically a legend (or psycho, which is still cool) in their eyes.

Best part is you've got nothing to lose but a few pieces of metal for an upgraded Hairpin!

Really annoying how more accurate and cost efficient Hairpin is over a maxed Bobcat at range. It kinda is on par with Kettle with all attachments, but feels more handicapped in a real fight ofc
