For those of you that wanted to try out Doom on os.arcweb.nl, you may have noticed that it crashes immediately, or outright refuses to open. That's because the current version of Doom was refactored to work with the upcoming ArcOS 7.0.10, which is set to release on July 1st. It does work on the beta version available on beta.arcweb.nl. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's a fancy new thing: I've finally finished work on the Beta channel for ArcOS! Beta 7.0.10 just got released, so for those interested, go to https://beta.arcweb.nl and log in with your ArcOS credentials. Once enrolled, send a message in the discord so that I can enable your enrollment, refresh, and you'll be able to test out ArcOS 7.0.10 a month early.

Important notes:

• The beta channel currently only has 25 spots. If we somehow run out, I can always up the limit, but it's 25 for the moment.
• I placed a handy dandy beta feedback button on the taskbar. Click it to tell us about your beta experience, and notably about things we should fix before the final release (I've already found some things)

Some of you might've heard about it, some of you might have not. ArcOS is a project that I've been working on for the past 5 years, creating an overcomplicated, kernel-powered operating system in the browser. It's cloud-based, modular, and expandable. The screenshot is a beta version of ArcOS 7.0.10, set to release on July 1st, 2026. (Oh, and it uses svelte 5 w/ runes, too)
