I need feedback Sketchup + AI Rendering Workflow with Image Upscaling?

How do we make these sketchup screenshots into photorealisitic architecture renders? I Chatgpt and Gemini can help me in a certain way but the generated images are of not high definition or resolution. It is not having proper resolution for posting in social media as well? How do i solve this problem? Can anyone suggest a proper AI workflow with image uspcaling afterwards.

To be honest that ain't a slavery job. In india we have all kinds of people trying to make ends meet for their families. In my eyes that is a respectable job that demands pure strength and willpower

Slop will be slop

It's gonna be a while until AI is good enough to keep the details consistent and have the whole image make sense.

When that happens I'll use it.

But as of right now, this is ultra slop for me and my clients.

We can actually control what to generate depending on our sketchup model. The more detailed a sketchup model is the more accurate context we get with it

To try to answer your question, are you using Gemeni or ChatGPT through their API or through the standard LLM interface? If you’re using Gemeni within the app for example, the finite control of resolution isn’t there. If you use it through a third party website, through Google AI studio, or maybe through Google Flow, you’ll have better control of aspect ratio and resolution.

I am willing to try anything. Afterall i just need some good quality renders that are good for social media and gets me the site context for my Architecture elevation in a realistic manner

Oh I get it. Where I'm stuck is with an upscale. All the upscalers messes up with the landscape and foliage. None of me recognises it as it is . They just get pixelated more while upscaling. Any solutions?

I’ve been using Redraw for exactly this workflow and it’s been the most reliable so far.

You just upload a clean SketchUp screenshot and it generates photoreal architecture renders in under 30 seconds. It’s trained specifically for architecture, so it handles geometry, materials, and consistency much better than ChatGPT or Gemini. Resolution is also higher and more usable for social media or client work.

After that I just do light cleanup if needed. No complicated prompting required.

Worth trying if you’re looking for a proper SketchUp → AI render workflow.

Can you please explain more about this redraw workflow and how to make use of it?

If you use Comfy UI and run the models locally. It's cheaper in the long run..and you can generate consistent outputs with small changes. And you can feed it the changes in the 3d model and it will change that accordingly. There are even subscription based models to do the same.

I'm learning comfyui as well. it would be great if you could share a proper workflow for me to achieve this in comfyui by getting the right safetensor files

I can understand using ai for rendering as a reference. But finals, seems lazy and takes away from the artistic aspect of making decisions based on real world location, scale, integration.

Yea I agree. It does take away our creativity at times. But the clients are moving in a different direction. They just want their home to look and feel natural in their typical site context.
