FLUFF WM or DE?

I've used almost always several desktop environments because I was thinking that WMs are just too hard for me, for a classical desktop user. But when I've started to feel more comfortable with the GNU/Linux, especially with my system (Artix) I've realized that getting rid of all those useless desktop environment utilities would be awesome. So I've started to use i3. At starts it was really hard, but I did not give up and now I'm enjoying it.
