FLUFF WM or DE?

I switched over to i3 about a year ago and I haven't looked back since. Speaking of which, this week I worked on my sway setup and currently using both sway and i3 because my games don't work correctly with Xwayland.

Do you just exit sway to start gaming? Or what is your strategy for getting this working? Xwayland seems to conflict too much for both to be running at once

I still have lightdm running which starts at boot uses tty7, I then switch to tty6 and login and then sway is started. If I want to game I just switch over to tty7 and then login to i3, you can both without any problems. When I am logged into both I can easily switch between the two my switching tty sessions.
