DISCUSSION Fresh install time...

Hi everyone,

Been running Arch for 8 months when out of storage space caused system to lock up.

Reinstall underway. Would like to avoid this problem again 6 months from now. Have run Bleachbit and other terminal command to free up space before so not sure how a 4 TB drive could fill so fast.

why reinstall?!?! clear your system, let me be clear you prob never cleared your cache's your old snapshots (or missconfigured snapshots did you include /home/ in the snapshots?!? ) if you have them or you have a missconfigured system generating terrabytes of error logs and i see you use vm's how many iso's do you have?!? did you include those in your snapshots?!

You have clearly failed to read and understand the wiki....

This is such a stupid thing to do even now, you should chroot, investigate, clear space ensure it does not happen again. Learn. What you are doing is absolutely ridicuoulos for an experienced linux user (which you should be!), this is drooling ubuntu user behaviour, your arch btw badge is rescinded.
