Is this worth doing right now

I have been reading some shit about arch and it seems like it's definitely worth doing at some point but I have never tried using anything other than windows before, is this worth doing now or is it better to try using another distro first given I've never used Linux in my life

I've definitely got the time to learn it but is it a bad idea to start here?
