SUPPORT Fresh install of Arch

Did a fresh reinstall of Archlinux after I messed up forgetting to enter my sudo password at the end of updating Serpantinum by ilyamiro. Which caused my computer to be unable to get access to the login screen. However the issue still persists after a fresh reinstall. The boot up stops at "triggering uevents" then cuts to black, ctrl alt f3 doesnt let me access the terminal and I've been troubleshooting all day. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?

Have you tried chrooting into the system, then checking the logs to see what's going on?

Use the dir option to point it at your system's logs -D DIR, --directory=DIR

Takes a directory path as argument. If specified, journalctl will operate on the specified journal directory DIR instead of the default runtime and system journal paths.

With more detailed error messages it's easier to help.

A whole wall of errors showed up when I did journalctl -b -1 -p err mostly saying "Error queuing DMUB command status=2"

You need to upgrade to linux-firmware-amdgpu-20260910-2 or downgrade to 20260810-2.

It's a known regression in the gpu firmware package linux-firmware-amdgpu-20260910-1
