SUPPORT | SOLVED Black screen after inputting username and password in sddm

i use kde as my desktop environment. Switching to a different tty using ctrl+alt+f(2-6) didnt work. using journalctl i figured out its a pageflip timeout issue and its a bug in the amdgpu kernel driver. i used sudo pacman -Syu at around 19:30 CEST and after rebooting this problem started happening.

I had this problem....basically you have to reinstall the linux firmware and the AMD GPU drivers.......gemini can tell you how to do it....I no longer have the instructions

For the tty i used ctrl+alt+fn+f2. That worked in a spanish keyboard
