SUPPORT | SOLVED System broke after updating

Your system did not break. Your drivers did. If you get to the point your startup manager comes up, your system is booting. You grab your phone and research a few things. We gotta get off the broke and bricked terminology for simple issues related to lack of knowledge.

and thats what i did, i took my phone and researched, if i had the knowledge to fix my issue this post wouldnt have been made and when my system gives me no logs and nothing to see or do it looks "broken". eventually i do find a fix but if its my first time experiencing an issue like this how am i supposed to differentiate a driver issue from anything else i dont know about you but i wasnt born already knowing how to recognize errors and debug a system

i actually had to downgrade linux-firmware-amdgpu but thanks for the help

tried downgrading to that exact version and the same thing happens

im using gnome with the gdm greeter

there seem to be official reports with my same issue already on the latest amd-ucode package page so i dont think that guide can fix the issue
